We travelled from Ooty to Bengaluru on 28th Dec '16, and checked into Adarsh Hamilton. We had opted for this hotel after browsing through numerous reviews, and the high scores (8.9) on travel sites. We were received with a smile and endearing courtesy. Even as we went through the check-in procedure, our hearts told us we had made the right choice.
The room was cosy and well appointed. Everything was in top order, be it the bathroom, the towels or the ironing board and electric kettle. Service was lightning fast, and every staff member greeted us with a warm (and genuine) smile. Being a family of three, we asked for an extra bed, and presto - it was rolled into the room in a matter of minutes. Extra supplies of bottled water, tea bags and coffee/milk sachets arrived in a jiffy. There was never an attempt to skimp on service or supplies.
Breakfast was a lavish affair, with fresh fruit, juices, continental and Indian fare in ample supply. The General Manager of the hotel, Mr. Rao would come around every morning, politely asking the guests at the breakfast table if everything was in order and to their liking. His warmth rubbed off on every staff member.
The hotel is centrally located (near Richmond circle) and one can walk to the happening places like MG Road and Brigade Road if one so chooses. Taxi services like Ola and Uber are also easily available for local rides.
We had dinner once at the restaurant, and the food was delicious; the portions, generous. Once again, we were delighted with the service and the warm hospitality of the staff. It's little personal touches of hospitality, be it the housekeeping staff or the room service, that make one's stay truly memorable.
A four star hotel with five star hospitality!
The Accommodation was good. Very apt for me, as it was just 5 mins walk from office. I would rate it as 4 star.
Staff was very courteous be it reception, dining, housekeeping etc - 4 star.
Food quality was average. The options for vegetarians is limited and the quantity is less. I would rate is at 3 star.
Ambience would rate as 3.5 star. The only miss for a business class hotel could be a swimming pool with a dining arrangement or a roof top garden with dining.
I visited this hotel for the first time and was totally taken aback in every aspect. The hotel was booked by my office and I thought it was a regular 4 star hotel without any frills but I was pleasantly surprised.
We ate dinner as soon as we checked in and the food was absolutely delicious. The room was extremely comfortable with all the necessary amenities and even additional details like iron & iron board. The WIFI network was also strong enough throughout the hotel. The fitness center was small but the equipment was the best that the industry offers. The next morning the breakfast spread was extended from cold cuts, fresh fruits, south indian delicacies & even asian cuisine! The food was fabulous!
The service at all levels was at par with any 5 star hotel and we had an absolutely wonderful stay during our business trip. I definitely look forward to returning.
I liked the place. Good hospitality, excellent food and money's worth. Keep it up. The staff at this place was very courteous and caring. The room service was up to the mark. The in-house dining was apt and the hotel is centrally located.
We planned a Xmas lunch & a family get together at the hotel on Christmas day with the entire family. I had met Rajesh their general manager a couple of days earlier, the gentleman was very courteous took us through the event plan and menu to accommodate a large family.
On Christmas day, the restaurant was very well laid out, the menu and food was exemplary. Every member of the family enjoyed their hospitality and variety of dishes. The quality and cleanliness is worth more than a mention. The staff were extremely helpful and cheerful were always there when needed, since had a handicapped person with us.
Overall a wonderful experience from start to finish and a memorable event for all of us. Many thanks and kudos to the Hamilton staff who made this happen for our family.
