Spent 10 days here in August doing a general wellness program. The place sitting on the outskirts of Bangalore is serene, green, full of chirping birds and a resident owl. Great vegetarian food, every person who works here tried to make your stay comfortable. Met some lovely people from all over the world. Not five star but a well kept property . I will definitely go again !
It was a wonderful experience that I recommend to all who want a healing not only physical but also emotional . I can't wait to return next year, when I intend to stay longer. Yoga in the morning and the ayurvedic massages best in India. And the food it was amazing.
The best thing I did for myself when I had an extra day in Bangalore, after having searched on Tripadvisor, read the reviews, I decided a day out at Ayurvedagram. It was a great experience and I'm very tempted to make it an annual pilgrimage. Everyone I came in contact act with, the yoga, meditation and front desk staff, and most of all the doctor were friendly and excellent. I couldn't have asked for better.
Just outside Bengaluru city, away from the noise and clamour of the busy world, is this peaceful Wellness Centre, in an exquisite heritage setting. Beautiful traditional old wooden structures have been taken from places in Kerala and reconstructed here. It is a world of grace and charm. The food is natural and medicinal and one feels transported to another age. A wonderful place for a restful cure, with traditional Indian Ayurveda therapy. Yoga and meditation add greatly to the experience.
Both me and my husband wanted to get away from the stress of our mundane daily lives, we wanted receive holistic care for ourselves for the various minor and nagging ailments and needed time to introspect and work out our future plans and Ayurvedagram is where we got to do all three!!!! Ayurvedagram is not just medical or wellness experience. Its a spiritual experience. The surroundings, routine and the care givers gently lead you to get in touch with your inner self. We loved our stay and the quality of care we received. We enjoyed the weather, the food and the treatments and not to forget the daily yoga and pranayama classes by experienced instructors. Additional sessions in the evening on the yoga, on Ayurveda and cultural programs added a magic touch to the stay there. One month after the treatment, the relaxed state of our minds continue. We have maintained dour health and we have some great tools at our disposal that we learnt there. We would highly recommend ayurvedagram and the panchakarma program to anyone who wants to care for their own bodies and souls.
