Expensive but Best Expensive but Best

by PritamSaha on November 6, 2016

1. Food is great. 2. Service is good. 3. Wifi is very fast. 4. Gym is not good. 5. Environment is good. 6. Security and safety are very good. 7. Very expensive. I would like to suggest, if you just want to visit Bangalore, then it is better to avoid such expensive hotel, that too it is far away from the city.

Very great location if you are in Whitefield. Walking distances if you have an office close by. Very nice breakfast especially South India stuff - dosas and vadas. Dinner is available on payment basis. Not exceptional but if you want to give the traffic a break then go for it. Nice build but housekeeping service was average in my opinion. Stayed for a night.

Was Alright Was Alright

I stayed here for 1 month after relocating from UK with work. I preferred the look of this place to stay rather than my usual hotel as I was going to be there for at least 1 month. Airport pickup was there and waiting. Check-in was relatively easy. The room on initial view was decent. Unfortunately I was given a room with two single beds rather than a double but it was OK. The furniture was pretty comfortable and the suite was a very good size. The bathroom and shower were very good. However, the living room had large amounts of damp in one corner (hidden by the curtain) I only noticed this towards the end if my stay. The kitchen was not equipped at all. Very few utensils and no crockery. The Wi-Fi was pretty poor and temperamental. While the cable TV also would occasionally lose signal for long periods. Breakfast was disappointing. Not much choice unless your Indian, yet the hotel is on a complex that has international companies. The cafe for lunch and dinner was pretty good with a fair choice. There are not many tables, do you usually have to share with someone else. Reception and house keeping were pretty good and attentive, on the whole. However, they tried to claim for minibar drinks that o never took (I have now decided this is a deliberate strategy for all hotels everywhere in the world - deliberately fail to stock the minibar on guests arrival so you can try and charge them later). I also had some post sent to me there but it was never delivered. I kept asking but nothing. I went back after checkout and got them to search again and it was found buried under some other papers on the reception desk. It was marketed as 4 star but I would suggest closer to 3. It is a lot cheaper than the nearby hotels but after staying there you can see why.

Lunch at the restaurant Lunch at the restaurant

This restaurant is located in the serviced apartments and is part of the property. We had lunch. The food quality was surprisingly good. The vegetarian jalfreizi was very good. The restaurant is small.Service is fast. If are in this area, worth a visit.

Excellent property, bad management team Excellent property, bad management team

Crest is inside Prestige Shantiniketan Apartment Society, state of the art campus with more than 3500 apartments and commercial organisations spread across an area of approx 100+ acres of lush green gardens and landscapes. This has been always a good choice for people looking for comfort options with luxury @ reasonable prices. You can access the apartment society's beautiful landscapes and really enjoy walking in the campus. Quite close to ITPL and all major companies around. They have 1 BHK luxury rooms to offer, which are in fact beautifully groomed and designed. There is a restaurant "By The Way" which runs at the ground floor open area, serves amazing food, though it is a bit heavy on your pocket. I would still call it a value for money deal. Having everything just picture perfect, they do not have a good team in driving the show. Staff & Management is never courteous to guests and they always are very arrogant or picks up arguments and fights with Guests for every their genuine clarifications. This is a regular scene at this place. Except this side rest everything is very good
