We had traveled to this resort on a team outing for a night mid June. Stay was pleasant at the resort, although some rooms had issues of AC not working. They sorted the issue when notified. Food was average but post a drinking party and continuous dancing first at the rain dance followed through at the discotheque, whatever we got was quickly devoured. We had negotiated the rates and these worked out to be quite decent. Breakfast was served only after 9.00 am. So after a round of morning games people were very hungry. We left after the lunch on the second day, the spread is average but tasty. The spread was tilted to the non veg people on the day. Overall decent experience.
Well let me come to the point straight. Its good for day out but ofcourse not good for night stay. For day-out they have so many activities, indoor game category they even have xbox and ps4, that usually you dont find in other places. Swimming pool is very beautiful, 4 levels of pools are there for different age category. Photographers dont go with huge expectations. Once you visit, dont forget to visit Pyramid International, its a spiritual practice center, 5-6 km from this resort. Trust me, you will never regret.
Now as I finished with all my positive feedback lets be Little more critical and explain why it is not good for night stay. My first observation is sraffs. They are all i guess trained to support only day out customers. Hospitality level is extremely poor. We visited the bar 3 times but could not find any bar-attendar. There were lot of alcohol and you cant even touch them!! Yes, ofcourse i asked some staff who was passing by, he replied lot of day-out customers were there so bar-attendar might be somewhere else. Tv were there but cable was not recharged. Yes they changed the set top box at the evening but my point is, you go to a resort, spend money and want to relax there also if you have to break your head for cable recharge then you better stay at home and do all these!! Breakfast they serve at 9:30!! I am really surprised!! I have visited many hotels for my work, everywhere i have seen breakfast is served at 8am or 8:30 am, why the hell they are so late!! Room is beautiful, bathroom is really nice but you will fill awful when you try to charge your mobile. Let me ask you a question, How will you fell if you try to remove your charger from the plug point sitting in a resort room and the charger comes out WITH THE PLUG POINT and you can see all red, blue, green wire hugging each other!!! Shocking? I was expecting some fun at night, some campfire, music, dance but like i said, Explanations are reason of unhappiness!!
But for day-out please try. And incase people from Elim Resort reading my review, please dont wish my death rather focus on those areas i have pointed, you will become one of the great Resort in Bangalore. I appreciate your patience and reading this review. Merry Christmas and Happy New year.
A very basic resort with basic facilities. good on the pocket... buffet breakfast and lunch available. Hi tea was provided.. not bad.. not great too. go for a team outing.. corporate get togethers..
they had a conference / meeting room... The lawn was nice.. (u can play shuttle )so was the swimming pool.. staff was good..
We had been to this place for team outing. Breakfast was awesome. Indore and outdoor games were good. But they don't have shuttle court. Dress code is mandatory to use swimming pool. Lunch buffet is above average. Its good for people who stay in this resort.
Elim resort has a very small swimming pool, lawn, rain dance and few indoor games... Overall the resort is congested & small... does not have much space.. Can go there for a day.. has a small business centre as well..staff was friendly & professional..
