We opted to stay at Hotel goldfinch during our recent visit to Bangalore to attend a conference at Gayatri vihar The main plus points are 1) its location near the venue and also it was near the Kantaveera stadium where we watched the PBL semifinals 2) its restaurants especially its sea food coastal restaurant Sana de gi They kindly upgraded and the room was adequate in size and amnesties though there was a funny smell throughout Overall the experience was satisfactory and is a good place for a short stay The road in front can very crowded especially evenings There is no pool but a small gym in basement They have a pub/disco for the enthusiasts

Upon arrival, we were both surprised and delighted with the warm welcome from the Front Office Manager Ms. Jyothi, that we received which was extremely professional and inviting. Ms. Jyothi worked extremely well to ensure that we were very well looked after. Clean and tidy rooms, the buffet breakfast was great, a lots of selection. A special thanks to the Chef who provided the special Mangalorean breakfast everyday. The coastal cuisine in the Sanadige and the Kebab Studio was absolutely amazing and very good food. Thank you Jyothi, definitely would recommend and well be back!!!

Its a very clean hotel. Staff are warm and welcoming. Special mention for Ms Nisha @ reception. Spread of buffet breakfast is sumptuous. Actually we were not expecting much from this place but it surprised us .

The people are quite friendly, they made me feel good and they were always aware of what I needed, it was a Great stay, they are a great team and without thinking, I would go back there, thanks for all attentions, I take a very good memory

Reception on arrival was a bit off hand but following receptionists were great. Our room was a treat: large and comfortable with a huge window that brought the outdoors in. Same small flat switches which are hard for seniors to use. Air quality was good, laundry service very attentive to detail. One of the best hotel rooms of the eight we stayed in. There was some fixing going on of the neighboring rooms so there was a modicum of noise during working hours. The coastal cuisine in the restaurant Sanadige and the attentive service there was absolutely amazing and made one evening a perfect experience. Breakfast brunch was wonderful the first day in their Terrace restaurant with great views of the city. The second day it wasn't the same. We used the beauty salon and while they can thread eyebrows and do pedicures well, the hair styling a total disaster. The beautician should never say she can style hair. I asked for curls that would last till the next day. She curled my hair outward using a styling wand, then she burned me with the tip just over my eyebrow. I was offered ice and an ointment but the whole incident was treated as ordinary by the manager of the salon, so I'm guessing it was a regular occurrence there. She assured me the curls I had never seen done like that would be perfect for the wedding I was to attend the next day...my hair was totally flat by the next morning! I complained both to the manager who said nothing and the front desk. The receptionist apologized BUT I still feel the salon should not undertake hairstyling. They can't do it and I should have been offered a refund for the mess they made of it and the discomfort I experienced. The hotel is about fifteen minutes away from major shopping and has a very good pharmacy, Paras Pharma around the corner from it.
