My stay was comfortable. The room was basic and the food was average.

This hotel is a good choice to stay in the touristic zone of MG road in Bangalore. It is near to pub, restaurants and cafe however its beautiful garden protects you from the noise of the street. The room are clean and comfortable, and the staff is professional. As an added value this hotel has two good restaurants. Overall I recommend this hotel.
Tucked in the famous Church street this hotel looks appealing from outside. The hotel promoters call their property a heritage property, but in honesty there's nothing old and antique or heritage about them. The building is of course old and undergone renovation and with that perhaps the sense of heritage has vanished. Few months back I had visited their cafe, "The White Room" and seeing the English classiness of it I was sure the hotel would just send me to the English country side. I was disappointed though. That said, it's not a bad place to stay. For the tariff they charge the rooms are really good. They are spotlessly clean, the AC works fine and the bed is super comfortable. And despite being on Church street there's negligible noise in the room. However, I had just two complaints - The light were too yellow and too dull for my taste. Perhaps that was the Hotel's way of transporting me to yesteryears but I wasn't impressed. Second they should consider putting a shower curtain in the bath. It doesn't cost much and helps keep the toilet roll dry that's placed right beside the shower. Overall I had a good comfortable stay with service that is fast and catered towards the customer. Stay here if you want to be in the heart of the city, not spend much and of course their two great dining options - Roomali and The White Room. My pick is White Room which is a gem in itself.
The hotel is reasonably good for the tariff and being located in the heart of the city, close to church street and Brigade Road. Rooms are good and the staff friendly. The buffet breakfast can improve a lot.
Overall good - the staff are extremely helpful and polite. The rooms were clean and well lit. The only hotel room I have stayed in where there was no shortage of plug points (for people like me who need to charge multiple things, it is not a trivial thing :-)). The shower was a little tight - it was more like an upright coffin. The two restaurants in the hotel are convenient. The White Room has good continental food. The Indian restaurant Rumali is pathetic. The food is never warm and the dishes tasteless. Unfortunately, the free breakfast and room service are from the latter. Overall, a good experience. And by the way, the location is excellent - it is central and there are more food places within walking distance than you can count.
Here is a hotel which matches up to the very best as far as it's location and outside aura is concerned. Checking was extremely smooth and fast. Now the rooms, they were ordinary to say the least. The interiors and the amenities need a major push to actually help it match the best in the business.
