i had booked my stay in this resort to celebrate my friends birthday. i reached the hotel around 230 thinking ill check in and reach just in time for buffet lunch that would cost me 500rs for 2 pax. but the check in took us over one and a half hour! we were made to wait in the lobby until then. finally i told them that i was hungry and was going to have lunch and come back. The al-carte is very expensive a starter fried rice gravy and lime soda which taste very ordinary came up to 1200! when i asked for ice they said they havent received supplies! After all the confusion was sorted between travel guru and the ivy hotel we were given a room around 415. There were no towels in the toilet, and were given to us on demand! the sheets were not clean and also had a hole in it. Not a single window in the room except one in the toilet. so the rooms feel very dingy and stuffy. we had work to be done, we connect to the wifi to find out that the internet is ridiculously slow! we left the hotel to a friends house just to finish up our work and got back to the hotel only at night! Next day morning i called the reception to find out about the complimentary breakfast, they told me it was open till 10, when i went there at 945 he told me they have already taken it off because after 930 they wind up. so all i got is a tea cup of water melon juice, idli very very tough vada, and on request for chatney and additional watermelon juice they said they dont have any left. I feel totally cheated by the hotel and travel guru! I also got to bill of my stay which was 2600 when travel guru charged me 3200 for the same! The hotel manager also mentioned to me that they dont update on your portal regularly because not very often do they get customers from you'll. And hence the confusion! The worst decision on my party by booking with travel guru and the the worst hotel chosen when it comes to service and room quality!
