Currently, under the name, OYO 7558 Galaxy Comfort Inn, is located on a busy street and although all center attractions are close by, it is a very unhygienic appearance. There is garbage all along the sideways. The Cubbon Park metro station is only a 10-minute walk. Night time in these streets seems a little unsafe. The hotel entrance itself is narrow and cramped. It seems welcoming and the proprietors and service boys are very kind and helpful. The owner gave tips on booking hotels at cheap rates and a few attractions close by. Being owned by OYO, check in and check out was 12:00 pm and 11:00 am, free bath soaps and lotions were provided, but that is all. There is a lift and I'm unsure if any renovation was happening, but ground floor rooms seemed too unclean and partially demolished. The Linoleum in the corridor of the ground floor was halfway taken out and water seeped through the walls and onto the floor. We booked the room as a couple and we were given a room with two single beds. Wifi is available but at very slow speeds. Sheets are only partially clean, that is, does not have a washed appeal. Two towels were provided which again do not seem like they are completely hygienic. Only a jug of water was provided (no glasses) and TV is as shown in pictures with a decent set of channels. One good thing is that the hotel staff is friendly enough to replace towels or sheets and available through the night as well. The toilet is one among the worsts I have been in. There is stains marks and water leakage all through the walls and geyser. Hot water was available only at certain hours of the day and the first gush of water is always a yellow color. Taps and health faucet are also heavily stained and only one bucket and NO Mugs were provided. When asked for a mug, the staff responded that they owned no mugs. The EWC was also discolored with stains and water is sparse, even through the faucet. Despite being mentioned in the official OYO website that a complimentary breakfast would be provided, we were given or notified of any such. No such dining rooms were also mentioned or seen and there is definitely no restaurant area granting we did not make an effort to try and order anything. All food delivery services like Zomato and Swiggy deliver to this area but not to the hotel room. A few mentionable good things about this hotel is the location and the friendly proprietor.
