I came across this hotel randomly while searching for hotel on airport road. Nice rooms and good food. Interior style is different and nice. Service is excellent.Staff was very friendly. A good budget hotel in all.
We were looking for a clean hotel nearestt the airport while travelling to Kabini, so that kids can have good night rest before the next day travel. Got the reviews of this hotel on TripAdvisor and it turned out what we were looking for a night stay. The hotel entrance, reception area are nicely and very cleanly done with no clutter around. The room which we took on ground floor facing the back of the hotel was large, clean and peaceful. the bed was comfortable and large. Bathroom was clean and with appropriate lights and no issue in terms of hot/cold water. Didn't much spent time in morning as we were in rush to avoid Bengaluru traffic on the way to Kabini but quick breakfast we had there had enough variety and was fresh. The Checkin and checkout was smooth and we requested for two parathas parcel for kids as kids were still half awake when we checked out, they parceled it nicely and to our surprise when we opened it, we found they have packaged even assortments around it which was a nice gesture of hospitality and such gestures make "ahhh" moments. The overall package was value for money and for the near airport location and large and clean room, this boutique hotel is sure a hidden gem in TripAdvisor.
The style and decor is unique and takes a little time to digest and the electricity goes off every 40 minutes or so. But this hotel aces it in the service department. From FOH staff to bellboys and guards, service is excellent and they go beyond the call of duty to attend to your needs (they even offered to take me on motorbike ride to a nearby pharmacy when I needed to get some meds). Breakfast, however, was a sad affair with food being cold and serving bins mostly empty by 9.00am. Other guests had to repeatedly ask for their orders and staff dont really bother to inform what can be ordered from the menu though it is buffet style. But overall, the service elsewhere compensates for these little shortcomings.
We stayed at Liwa Hotel for one night, basically as a pit stop on our way home to Australia. It's close to the airport and in a quiet location. The staff could not have been more friendly or efficient and were very helpful. Our room was massive and very clean, although the bed was a little hard (but this seems the norm in India). The attention to detail in the design of the rooms/lobby etc is quite amazing and unique. We had room service for dinner and found the food to be quite tasty. Unfortunately quite a few of the menu items were not available. Probably our only real complaint would be that due to the floors being non carpeted, sound travelled quite clearly and we were woken up by the sounds of dragging furniture/voices throughout the night. We would definitely recommend this hotel and come back again.
This hotel is just off the main road on route to airport. Beautifully constructed, nice big rooms, quiet atmosphere, clean. The upgraded our room as the rooms we pre booked were not available. the food was good (although very spicy). overall, a good experience
