we always hold our residential conferences @ Manipal County. Such a amazing place tooo.... if some one looking to be far from our city traffic then I strongly recommend this beautiful place. The attitude & Service of the staff are incredible. Although we are regular guest they always treat as we are new to the resort.Hats off to the Team for the great job & Service they offer us each time. The most loved thing is that the food provided.

Average place, good for group activities Average place, good for group activities

by Shashank S on October 4, 2016

We visited this resort as a group of 30-40 people. This is just ok for a day kind of outings. Here is the zest: Pros: - Good campus, clean and green - Have many lawns to perform group activities for - Its within the city limits, not very far Cons: - There are no activities to do here, just a pool and the resort. So if you are not in a good group, you will get bored. - Staff doesn't look very warm and enthusiastic. They are a bit lazy to respond. - They mix up veg/noveg labels for the food, which pissed some of the veggies off. Overall, this is a place for weddings / family outing with big group, when you can entertain yourself. Nothing as such.

Horrible place! Their so called cricket ground is occupied by cows, so we got some extra fielders. They are unsure about which dish is called what...we ordered something and got something else. Very unprofessional stuff.

Very bad attitude of staff; we were like nomads with no one to take care of. Very bad attitude of staff; we were like nomads with no one to take care of.

This review is about the day-out resort; not about the hotel which situates in the same campus. Though many of the ratings on Google and Tripadvisor are great, I found the service horrible. Went there for a corporate team outing, and the reception was cold. We waited at the reception for over 45 minutes for a guy to come and receive us. During the entire stay, we were never able to see a single person apart from the boys who cook food for us. We had to literally run around by ourselves to get cricket bats, badminton rackets, etc. Nobody responsible was seen anywhere close. The only [good' thing about the resort is that it has a lot of space (read barren land). Cricket stadium is like a grass-grown ground. That's it. Food was average, yet satisfactory for the price. At the end, they didn't accept Amex, though they had vowed to accept it while booking. At the end, I had to pay from my personal credit card, and the manager of the county - we saw him for the first time during our entire stay of 7 hours - was really rude at us when we demanded - politely - acceptance of Amex card. He said things are like this, pay the bill and then we can go. Will never ever go to this place again. Darn!

Awesome Wedding - Best part Awesome Wedding - Best part

by shruth2015 on January 31, 2016

I got married in Manipal county in May 2015, a friend suggested Manipal county .i approached them just 1 month before the wedding and was clueless about everything, within no time they arranged everything for me, i got to select the venue for the wedding. Ashwin from Manipal county sat and planned everything with me, they let me customize and let me incorporate everything that i wanted , they were very open and willing to go that extra mile to make me feel special for my special day. everything was flawless. From decorations to musicians and coordination between the caterer. I was so hassle free that i got to njoy the wedding . Ashwin and his team , they are too good. My family and inlaws were very family with the entire event . Everybody was njoying the venue and chilling out , it was different than getting married in a marriage hall. Best thing that i did for my wedding was approach Ashwin and Manipal county to handle every detail of the wedding.
