Radha Hometel Whitefield - A Sarovar Hotel

I must say it's my favorite place, where we often visit with our family. My kids like this place, and most important thing I should say is the restaurant in it. We are strict vegetarians and still we didn't find hard while enjoying buffet there, since there are very nice varieties for vegetarians and the Chef Jagannath is really helpful in offering different dishes personally.My family prefer this place as it's location is also safe and sound for a family visit.

*One of the worst New Year events ever.* For entry, only 6 people were managing tickets for over 1,000 attendees. There were long queues everywhere, even for basic necessities like water. It took me 10 minutes just to reach the counter and get a bottle of water. The first DJ was not up to the mark. She didn’t even know the basics of blending songs. She played all the popular tracks in a mixed-up manner, leaving the crowd waiting for proper transitions to dance. Who on earth includes a sponsor’s show in the middle of a New Year event, especially when they’re already charging the audience? The crowd was overwhelming’while the lawn could accommodate only 500 people, there were over 2,000 attendees. People were smoking everywhere, and there was absolutely no security in place. The stage was ridiculously small, with no budget for decent lighting. This was, hands down, the worst event ever. Stay away!

Although the property is very green and has good lung space, the rooms are very ordinary. Good parking space as well. The mattress in the rooms are Old- the sprigs were flat one side and the other unevenly bouncy. There are no Universal sockets in the room which makes it unfriendly to non Indian gadgets. The breakfast needs to improve with taste although the service was good. The chef needs to get the basics like idli/dosa right which is staple to the city. The location is the best part of the hotel - closer to offices, walkable distance to good pubs/restaurants and very close to metro station and bus stops. Ideal for business trips.

Went for their New Year Party, pathetically arranged. They admitted unlimited crowd in such a small space. The food and drinks had long queues and pathetic at best in terms of taste, with long waiting period as they did not have enough stock. With no crowd control and very few people managing the entire event, saw people in group passing lewd remarks to girls and ladies. Spent some 10-15 mins and came back. They were supposed to have a separate section for kids, which did not have a security at all. They should learn from their next door Trinity Hotel, how well Trinity arranged the NYP for FY23. Since this year Trinity was not arranging, people opted for Radha Hometel instead. But it's a shame they couldn't manage or control the crowd at all. People should read this review in case they are looking at attending the NYP next year. Don't organize if you can't manage it. Edit - Looks like they have a similar history in managing events as I went through the reviews.
