Comfortable hotel at a good location Comfortable hotel at a good location

Staff were very hospitable, went the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here. The food was very good, the breakfast buffet was impressive, especially the health drinks. They also have a cosy rooftop with a decent view, a nice place to relax and enjoy a drink or two in the evening.

After all the hustle & bustle of down town City Traffic, this Hotel is the best location to recharge ones Sanity. After all the hustle & bustle of down town City Traffic, this Hotel is the best location to recharge ones Sanity.

My wife and I had just spent 4 fantastic weeks touring South India - along the East Coast to Kanaya Kumari ( Very tip of Southern India ) , then up the West Coast to the back waters of Alleepie , to the lovely Hill Station of Munnar, Which is nestled in the Western Ghats or Blue Mountains, soroundid by miles of Tea plantation. We then spent a couple weeks in Goa, far from the madding crowds of Civalum, Calanguth & Bagha Beaches, st the beautiful village If Gurim - so lush green & tranquil. Then we had to return to Bangaluru to get our return flight , home. So after some research we selected St Marks Hotel & Wow! We were so pleasantly Suprised at all aspects of this Lovely medium size Hotel, when Big seems to be the new trend in Bangaluru. We felt so Welconed right from arrival by the doormen. The reception/ lobby area is so clean & the receptionist was so polite & helpful, to our needs & requests ( A real lovely , warm touch ). We were given Room 701 on the 7th floor. The room was well appointed , clean and had all we required. As we had 4 large cases & hand luggage, it felt small, but we declined a move to a larger room, as our room was just right. The other bonus for being in the 7th floor, is that one can walk a few steps & go in to the Terrace Garden. Here one can avail if free Hot Beverage drinks & butter / short bread biscuits- Free. Sitting high up above the City is so charming st sun set. The Resturant doubles up as the place where one is served a great selection of Breakfast Items - South Indian - Dosa, Steamed Idly, Vada, Varioys Egg preparation's , Continental Breakfast , Fredh Fruit ,cereals and so on. The very obliging Chef us st hand to cook a fresh English Breakfadt, if you ask nicely - the Staff are very friendly and most helpful , further they speak very good English. The Chamber Staff clean the rooms & change the Towels daily & are quick st responding to any other request like getting an Ironing Board & Iron. The location of this Hotel to the City Centre is second to none, , one can eadly get to mist if the Goid Shopping Malls, Shopping / Commercial Streets m Resturant's and places of Interest very easly. This Hokel has all the right aspects of a very good hotel, st a very affordable price - No Brainer !

The St Mark's Hotel is on St Mark's Road half a minute away from the Residency Road crossing. Despite being in one of the busiest parts of town, the rooms (which are spacious, well equipped and very well maintained) are well sound insulated, ensuring you get good quality sleep. Breakfast is fairly lavish and the quality of food is good. Given that there are upward of 100 eateries within a km of the hotel, I didn't eat any other meals in-house. The staff is competent and eager to please. If you have work in this area, you couldn't hope for a better deal

Came to Bangalore for a week to watch the cricket and was looking for a hotel within close proximity to the stadium. This fitted the bill but it was so much more. Always spotless, rooms very spacious and well appointed, great internet service, tasty buffet breakfast with plenty of variety and best of all, very genuine and welcoming staff throughout the hotel, who take the time to get to know you remember you order from the previous day and try to preempt your needs without you asking. The hotel is also centrally located to local restaurants, shopping malls and other sights and sounds of Bangalore and easy to get to and from. Highly recommended
