Dear Travel Guru Executive, Have you ever cheated by fraudulent advertising by online booking? If you have not your Company seems to be practising it. I am a Senior Citizen- 75 years having spent a career in Tourism Ministry and has inspected hotel with travel agents and airlines executives for star rating. So when I booked my hotel room through �travelguru� what I opted for is your credit line: �Bangalore, Koramangala Strategically located in Kormangala and close to the Forum Mall, this 3 Star hotel maintains 17 rooms with Wi-Fi Internet facility. The Current Affairs, a 24hours restaurant serves scrumptious fare to its diners. A 30x20 sq feet banquet area is also available for private and official events. The property is maintained with ample car parking space and also offers travel assistance to the guests.� When I arrived all that read above false! First, many persons and shop keepers do not even know this name when I was asking directions locally after travelling from Chennai to Bangalore by car and reaching Forum Mall. After phoning the hotel and found the hotel building has a bold sign engraved: �A premiere Exclusive Hotel�. Impressed I went in to check in and asked for the car park to park my car. The front office Receptionist told me that I have to park only on the road and there is no separate car park! It is not a star hotel at all the look of it, to check on it I asked for the restaurant and what type of food they cook / serve. There is no running restaurant, as they procure food from other roadside restaurants and serve either at room or at restaurant!! How can you ensure the hygiene of food you obtain from outside! The truth is it is not a �star hotel� as advertised but a servicing Lodge with a false facade of a hotel! After ascertaining the above facts I did not off load my luggage from car and asked them to cancel my booking and asked for refund. The Receptionist contacted the hotel M.D. and told me he is cancelling my booking but to take up the matter with travelguru reservation. The MD / Director did not talk to me. I will be much obliged for your cooperation in refunding my money. If you need my services n rating hotels, I will be glad to do for you. It is better to be honest and say that TEEKAY GRAND IS A LODGE or An Apartment Service Home instead of calling it a star hotel. Please arrange for the refund of my booking money, and avoid unpleasantness of reporting you to Cyber crime Police, Tourism Ministry, suing in Consumer Court, etc. plus writing letters to newspapers and media and putting this incident in internet. We did not stayed in TeeKay Grand - Bangalore for following reason:- 1. Sofa without Sofa cover 2. Leakage at Bathroom ceiling 3. Studio room without gas stove, utensils By seeing hotel room condition, we opted for complete refund from Travel Guru and went to different Hotel.

I had booked this hotel based on reviews on your website and also because it was closest to Christ college in which my son was answering an entrance test. The room did not have any airconditioning. There was no restaurant, the staff was untrained & the whole place appeared dead. MORE THAN THIS PARTICULAR HOTEL, I THINK TRAVELGURU IS AT FAULT. The location is very ideal. Rooms are very clean. Quality of service is very prompt. The hotel does not have a restaurant but then there are enough decent eating place near to the hotel. I would definitely stay there again.

1. Helpful front desk, house keeping and room service staff. 2. Free room upgrade even without any mention to the customer. 3. Spacious rooms. 4. Proximity to Forum. Walkable distance from shops and PVR. 5. Economical considering the locality. Cons: 1. Hot water available only in the morning till 10:30 AM. 2. Limited dining options available. 3. No facility for outgoing calls. The phone in the room does not have this feature and front desk is unable to connect.

Hotel is perfect for business travellers. Rooms are good enough,spacious. They provides free Wi-fi,parking. Room service is quick. Food is also tasty and delicious. 24hrs Water supply. It is budgetary hotel I can say. Satisfied, stay and experience.

My Experiences: 1) Laughter is the best therapy: The staff would gladly laugh at all your complaints, like they're not supposed to cater to anything. 2) Always look forward to tomorrow: "Tomorrow", that's their answer to almost all your grievances. 3) Learn to adjust: Even if there is no latch on your bathroom, with 3 room-mates 4) The worst is yet to come...: The very first day housekeeping was done (in over a week), all the water from washing utensils choked the drain, and our room became a sweet smelling pool :) P.S. Just moved out. Came for 2 months, moved out in 10 days. Save yourself the trouble.

Thanks to clear trip for spoiling my entire Business trip. Seems like Clear trip has tied up with worst hotels to multiply their profit. I booked the room at Teekay Grand on the previous day for a discount of 300 odd rupees. Room was pathetic and the service was very bad.

This place is a NIGHTMARE! The "Manager" whom we found out was actually the owner, seems to be a mental patient, only interested in money, and is the least bit interested in the fact that there are thousands of BEDBUGS all over the place, posing a serious health hazard!!! I am really shocked that the Authorities are not closing this place down!!! Although they say there is a restaurant, there is no concept of any food available from the hotel, they keep running to nearby roadside places for food & drink! Staff seems to have their hands tied, because the Manager/Owner does not allow them to serve the guests or do any of the normal things that is available at even the cheapest of hotels! This place is FAR WORSE than even the "Fawlty Towers" TV series, stay FAR AWAY is our only advice!!!!

The worst place I have ever been. I lived in Bangalore for 4 months and stayed at Teekay Grand for my entire stay, as it is locate close to Christ College. The place is terrible, and service even worst. Cleanliness is non existent, even if it should be included in the price. Internet worked poorly, when it worked. My kitchen faucet was leaking and it was never repaired, the bathroom sink in another room was leaking to the point of flooding the bathroom and it took the manager 1 month to repair it, the room next to mine had problems with pipes and they would make an intolerable sound sometimes in the middle of the night. 4 men work there and it's not clear what they do, besides smoking and sleeping in the hotel rooms when they are vacated. Also, when asking for clean towels and sheets (they should be changed, but I always had to ask) it is very dubious they are actually clean. Run away from this place, there are many more places in Bangalore far better than this and much more affordable! Prices per night are 2500 rupees, which is INSANE for the service they offer. Incredibly horrible experience. I was given a microwave for the apartment that was all dirty inside, including a dirty mug with rotten milk inside and a rice maker all full or old rice. Crazy, dirty, horrible place. The pictures they post are as deceiving as they can be, the place as nothing to do with the pictures posted.
