The Richmond is a great hotel and it is in a nice location. It is located near to a street which offers fine dining and shopping. The hotel has efficient staff with clean rooms and good facilities. We stayed in an Executive room and that was very comfortable with attached bathroom. All the basic amenities are present in the room. We had our breakfast in hotel restaurant. It was clean and had well mannered staff. Food was also very nice.
Hotel nearby area was nice. Regarding the room there is no complain as each and every facility was their in the room.
Food was excellent in taste of the restaurant. Room was clean and neat with all the facilities. The staffs were caring and polite in their work & its located in a very beautiful place.
My standard room was comfortable. It was really a good stay for 3 nights overall.
Hotel is located centrally in the main city. Our room was well furnished with all the amenities. The room service was very prompt, and friendly at the same time. We had our breakfast in the restaurant, it was awesome in taste. It is worth the money.
The hotel was well maintained and their arrangement for room and service was terrific. Location was fair enough but accommodation was spacious and staff was attentive. It was a recommendable property for families also.

Hotel was Good,new hotel nice rooms, breakfast they served was good as well, parking at around the hotel is a troublesome as I had few guest who could not find place to park and we had to meet outside on the street only.

Booked online and arrived on a Monday, waited for more than an hour to check in because they were preparing our rooms. Not sure what they did because there was a yellow stain on the bath wall that looked like chewing gum, stale pudding and stains in the fridge that looked like it's been there a while and the menu was torn apart, pages weren't in order. My room was serviced three days in a row and all issues remained. Menu still a mess, chewing gum still on the wall and fridge still had rotting food. On my final night, I tried to order food from the 24/7 menu, the staff was rude and told me to order only from the 24/7 menu. When I told him that that was what I was looking at, he told me "not available" and hung up. Called the manager and complained, he was particularly rude and drove me up the wall. He cut me off by asking what I wanted to eat before I could explain my issues, a distracted me while a staff cleaned the chewing gum off the wall. When asked if he just cleaned it because it wasn't on the wall anymore, he blatantly denied it. He finally told me not to discuss something that is in the past and kept asking me what I wanted to eat. Overall it was a degrading and insulting experience. A cheap motel without all the posh front would have given me better service.
a very good hotel in a great location. a good value for money. we had a good stay, hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. the breakfast was very nice. we will recommend this place for everyone who want to spent some time in this great big city in a good price.
Good ambiance, variety of food and tasty. had some issues with Air Conditioning. I stayed 2-3 times, every time, I had issues with AC, temperature was not controllable. There are also issues with their service. Also, felt uncomfortable cigarette smoke through AC duct.
Very impressive entry with some steps to entrance. Clean, large foyer. Efficient front desk staff. Intermittent wi-fi. Had to keep asking for it to be reconnected. Asked for a quiet room on a non-smoking floor. As soon as I got to the room, I smelled cigarette smoke by the door, which was annoying. We were also put next to a worker's entrance and there was a lot of noise and a door that kept banging till midnight. The next day, after I mentioned these things, there was no smoke or noise. Bedroom has a large see-through window to the bathroom and that can be embarrassing if one forgets to put the shade down and keep it down. Switches are flat buttons with tiny writing so hard to read and also use. Breakfast buffet, good. Dinner was a challenge as we ordered and were assured when we ordered that no chillies was not a problem and then were served a spicy dish. When I asked for it to be taken back the waiter started arguing, saying the 'masala' was pre-made and couldn't be changed. I refused to discuss it with him. When we returned for our next stay, he apologized and again explained how the masala was pre-made. I think they could add less of it to the curry for a person who is asking for 'non-spicy'. We got a wonderful driver, Prabhakar, knew where all the shops were and took us to a wonderful tailor who actually gave us our clothes when he said he would. If you need a driver while at the Elanza, Prabhakar is your man. Our second stay we got a quieter room, couldn't turn the a/c lower, asked for someone to come help, waited two hours then called again before we got a tech who had to do something in the ceiling to regulate the a/c. Annoying. Same problem with flat, tiny switches as well. We had a problem finding the hotel at one point so be sure and take a card from the hotel before you go out. This could be a great hotel with a little more attention to details.
I was very happy with myself for choosing this lovely hotel. It maybe a 3 star but the rooms are great and so is the cleanliness. Their attitude is one of that of a five star so kudos to the management. A special mention to Hari from the front desk who was very sweet and thoughtful. Housekeeping does a great job. Breakfast was decent but i feel the restaurant could do with a bit of style. It needs a face lift. Overall i highly recommend this one. Go by the tripadvisor reviews. It is as good as they say.
