The Paul Bangalore - A Luxurious Home Away From Home We stayed at The Paul, Bangalore for 3 nights from 15th July 2010 to 18th July 2010. Bangalore was our last destination after visiting Coorg and Mysore. The Paul is located in a residential area (quiet and peaceful) in Domlur, just opposite to the Dell Office. It is 6 kms away (20 mins drive) from M.G. Road. The Paul is a small 5 Star all suite luxury hotel. When we entered their grand lobby, we were welcomed and greeted by their courteous staff with a broad smile. The check-in was instant and didn’t take more than 2 minutes. They upgraded us to the executive suite which had 2 bedrooms, a living room with a small dining table, a well stocked mini bar, 2 washrooms, a powder bathroom, a dry kitchen area and an amazing patio. The suite was very well furnished (very contemporary), with individual temperature control in every room, which bought a smile on my wife’s face. The washrooms are small but very clean, modern and have a shower cubicle with spa jets and rain shower (amazing pressure of water) with temperature control. They were always well stocked with great toiletries. All the rooms have huge LCD screens and are totally sound proof. The house keeping of this property get an A+ from me, as the rooms were spic and span every time we entered the room after a long day. Every thing was on its place. The stock of kitchen essentials (coffee, tea, sugar, etc.) was always maintained as well as the toiletries in the wash rooms. They made sure that the ice bucket was filled every evening without even asking them. Well, this is a classic example of well trained house keeping. The food at The Paul is extra ordinary. It gets 10 on 10 from me. Chef Ashwin Kotian is an expert and is very experienced. He is a gem of the organisation. He also has great knowledge of different cuisines and restaurants all over the world. We had a 4 course meal prepared by him. To be honest, I have become a fan of his cooking (excellent Italian food), a must have if you are in Bangalore. The breakfast buffet served was sumptuous and delicious too. Currently, they have only 1 restaurant ‘The Sidewalk’ which serves as a coffee shop too. When I suggested that they should have more, I was told that 3 new restaurants were coming up on the 4th level. The Paul has a gym, steam and sauna rooms and a swimming pool. The staff here too is very friendly, alert and helpful. The only thing I disliked was that every time I wanted to take a dip in the pool after the steam session, I had to pass through the gym, making the floor wet. They should have a separate entry from the steam and sauna rooms to the pool. Secondly, since the pool is a part of health centre, you cannot order food and drinks there. The staff at the reception, bell desk and security are also extremely helpful and always on their toes. Mr. Patrick in particular was very helpful to arrange for a cab when our pre-booked cab failed to come on time. He also gave us several suggestions and solved our queries regarding the city. To sum up, The Paul is one of the best luxurious properties in Bangalore. I will definitely stay here on my next visit. Cheers to Mr. Neil, The GM of this property.

It was excellent with good service. The room was spacious and kept clean. We enjoyed the food and the staff was courteous. Will recommend the hotel to other people who will travel to bengaluru. Our next visit we will stay at the paul for sure

Hotel is located a bit off a main road, but restaurants remain easily accessible with a Richie. The hotel has its own restaurants, different types of food (Local , asian, european) and brews its beers on site. Lots of care in the service and attention to the details, after a few days you're like home. A special thank to Anuradha who kindly assisted me in organizing a quick one day visit of Bangaluru - she was of very good advice and that helped a lot.

The hotel is lovely and shiny and new, the pool facility is great, not many people there when we went. Hussein on reception is a fantastic worker, so cheerful regardless of the hour! The shuttle to the airport (NOT FROM) will save you a bit of cash as well. If you have a car the free parking will be so convenient,

You can find any things u like in this hotel. They have Great serves and have a cleaner place. People can stay in the hotel and no need to go out becuse there are many things u can do it for relaxing and feeling. You have great place to stay at morning and night with romance ambience.

Spent one week at the Paul during a business trip in October 2016. The location in the city might not be the best for visiting touristic spots, but for me it was perfect location to the office and a relatively close to a good shopping street. You will take a cab where ever you go anyway. Rooms were spatious, cleaning was very good and beds comfortable. I had to take some late evening meetings with Europe and by that I was dependen on WiFi and worked perfect for me. I used the gym almost daily and for being a hotel gym think it was really well equiped, not that big but with both cardio vascular machines, wheight machines but alos free weights, and the pool in connection to the gym was freqeuntly used by guests - all clean and tidy! All personell was very welcoming and caring! And they really tried to make me feel at home when away from home. And for me the best of all; the hotel supported me in the best possible way when it comes to the meals. I have a food allergy, I'm gluten intolerant, and they supported me fully during the week with very good result! They arranged lunch boxes for me to bring to the office and good meal every evening. They were very supportive and open to set the meny day by day upon my wishes - very good food all week with inspiration and introduction to local specialities.
