This hotel is in a superb location near to a shopping complex. The staff are polite, helpful and very friendly. My bag strap gave way and the staff quickly assisted by getting it repaired. The room is clean and well maintained. The hotel was excellent.

Chose the President Hotel in Jayanagar, Bangalore as I had some work in that area. It turned out to be a good budget hotel. The first thing you notice as you step inside the "Lobby" as you must call it is the lack of space. This theme applies everywhere. The room size is small, the bathrooms are small, the storage space is minimal. Not a big deal if you ever stayed in a Japanese hotel though. A big turn-off for some might be the incredible hot-water policy. There's running hot water ONLY for four hours in the morning and four in the evening. How is that for a hotel touted as three-star? The hotel makes up for this by offering pretty good service. The rooms are quite clean, housekeeping is pretty good. The breakfast and buffet lunches at ISYS restaurant are very good. The staff is attentive without being intrusive. The front desk found me an umbrella when it rained one evening. There is another restaurant on top floor, which can be bothersome at night if you stay on the fourth floor. The kitchen -or something else - makes a noise till midnight that can irritate if you have keen hearing like mine. Cable TV has predominantly South Indian channels. No other Indian language other than a few Hindi channels. That should be pretty easy to fix.

Recently we stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with our family with 2 children in one of the luxury rooms. The room was very clean, comfortable and had all the modern set ups with amenities. We found that the luxury room was little congested for 4 people, if the size of the room was little bigger, it would be more comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good and also the food we had from room service was very tasty. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Overall we had a very pleasant stay in this hotel and we loved it.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and booked a luxury room. Got a good discount on MMT. The room was of decent size with an small attached living room. Since we had called some friends to meet us at the hotel, it helped having an extra room when our kiddo slept off. Room was neat and room service was fast. We made reservation for dinner at their inhouse restaurant Gufha and were happy with the food. Though it wasn't extraordinary, the decor was nice and service was fast. Its a good value for money restaurant...

The rooms were very small, bathroom congested- with slow drainage. Reception area very small. The 'captain' at the restaurant - Shankar - needs special mention- since he went out of his way to help us to get bland food, as we were sick throughout our stay with fever and traveler's diarrhea. We ate mainly bread with jelly for a couple of days- but he showed concern and helped us with boiled vegetables and pasta. He was so happy when we ate something- it was like being taken care of by a relative. (The places gets a higher rating in services mainly because of him) The rooms had very thin walls and we could hear the television and the conversation of people very clearly from the adjacent rooms. There was a lot of activity throughout the night - people going in and out. We employed the taxi services every day from the hotel while we stayed there- but the first day we got a relatively new employee (driver) who didn't know English/ Hindi, didn't know the nearby locations and was a horrible driver (he took 40 min to reach a 20 min destination- and that too was reached after I had to get down and ask for directions multiple times). We had him for a few times again later in spite of requesting to have someone else.

The review is clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. It is located in a convenient place. The only negative is the speed of the internet and the strange way one has to get the password for the internet.

The reception itself gives an idea of the whole experience awaiting you. Rooms are not properly maintained. Bathrooms are dirty and need to be renovated. There are few good things like a clean bed and well stocked mini bar, nice towels but seriously the whole hotel needs to be refurbished. The complimentary breakfast is the worst I have ever seen or tasted , the food is stale and even the tea was unbelievably horrible , cannot explain what it tasted like. The staff uniforms are shabby , the restaurant is half furnished and remaining furniture look like they have been kept here after discarding . Very unpleasant stay for the money spent very disappointing
