Being a solo traveller the main thing i look up to is the service and security in the hotel. And the same happened. The staff like Amanpreet went out of the way to help me. She knew i had a very long flight hence helped me with the spa options and trust me it's amazing, also she placed beautiful flowers in the room with sweets when i returned back from work. Ankita on the other hand took care of my breakfast needs and i really loved south Indian breakfast though. I really appreciate the senior staff, who train their staff so well that they go out of their to help the guests. All the very best. Cheers

We could not have been more pleased with our stay at the hotel. The staff gave us such a warm welcome and all details of our stay were well-thought out beforehand. The rooms are beautifully appointed and the location of the hotel is superb. Had stayed a week in the Ritz Carlton and had a wonderful experience. Every interaction, from my personal check in experience to dining to maintenance and housekeeping, was so friendly and accommodating. Service was clearly top of mind of every associate. The Market breakfast was wonderful and the Bang roof-top bar had a great vibe and atmosphere.

This is my experience of staying in Indian hotels, but it was good. The service is excellent , well supportive, but not annoying. Tasty food. Nice restaurant on the roof (15th floor). High level security: all cars are checked. To get in everyone should pass through a control post, like at the airport, but not as strict.

I've stayed at many hotels in Bengaluru. Some excellent and others average. The Ritz was above average but not excellent. My issues were with the inconsistencies I experienced over a 12-day stay. I was told at check in that I didn't have enough status for the executive lounge (even though I was Marriott Platinum) so maybe the staff didn't believe I was platinum or they were trying to get an upcharge but at least the duty manager next day fixed the issue. I would find that my room would be missing a random towel or soap after room service. Some days a hand towel was missing, one day a bath mat, another day I'd have one towel with a hole in it (and that was the only towel that day). And then I would be missing a shampoo for the shower and the next day have five. I hope it was a housekeeping game, but it was probably a lack of attention to detail. Nothing show stopping bad with the hotel, but just the kind of things that take a hotel from 5 stars to four stars. The hotel was clean, rooms were nice, and the style in the general areas was excellent. I'm staying at another Marriott location in Bengaluru on my next trip because I think Marriott has great properties in India, but I wouldn't go out of my way (and deal the the traffic) to stay at the Ritz if another comparable hotel is available closer to my place of business.
