Though I booked the Hotel Shivaals through Travelguru, the hotel refused to accept the booking saying that it has not authorised Travelguru to book on their behlaf. I had paid the entire cost through internet to Travelguru at the time of booking, but to my surpise the hotel at the time of checking demanded advance and any amount of pursuation from my side or Travelguru representative from Mumbai and Bangalore did not yield any result. At last I had to pay entire hotel bill by cash while checking out. The gratifying point was that Travelguru team at Mumbai and Bangalore promised that since Hotel does not accept the booking, Travelguru will refund the money I paid at the time of booking. The above episode gave me bitter experience and caused severe doubt about the service of Travelguru. However, it was a pleasant surprise when I found Travelguru team reimbursed my money within a couple of days time, as promised. As requsted during the course of my stay at the Hotel and after that, I once again request that TRAVELGURU should never book a hotel unless there is an understanding of working methodology. If Hotels do not accept the booking done by TRAVELGURU it would only lead troubling the travellers and at the same time spoil the reputation of your company. With regards, s nair

This was our first hotel booking . I have booked this hotel against Booking ID.TGU0001007365,when we reached at hotel and shown them Hotel booking receipt as well as invoice, their first answer was we don�t know and we don�t have any room vacant. We were very surprise to listen their wording. Accordingly we tried to contact with M/s Travel guru but there was no any contact no. of M/s Travel guru in booking confirmation receipt as well as in invoice. We were traveling first time in Bangalore hence we have no idea about any other hotel nearby the location so we requested them to suggest some nearby hotel, than they have told us that if you are agree to pay full advance tariff of room then we can accommodate to you in our hotel itself. We have no any other option because we were already so much tired due to long journey. We stayed there after paying full advance payment. After that we have searched the contact no. of M/s Travel guru in internet and inform to them about the above situation. M/s Travel guru assured us on phone and given written confirmation through mail to return back full booking amount. We are still waiting our booking amount.
