Hello, It is with utmost regret that I have to inform you that travelguru.com has been a nightmare of an experience for us. I am a Royale Member at makemytrip.com and for once I decided to try your services but it has been totally disappointing. Here's why... I had booked a hotel in Bangalore named UG Royal, booked a DOUBLE Deluxe Room in that hotel for 2 people for one night stay from 2nd Feb to 3rd Feb. 1 day before my journey I got a call from you that UG Royal has no vacancies and you have ahifted us to UG Regal, which is located nearby. I agreed to that. Now when i reached the hotel UG Regal on 2nd feb, they told us we had no booking and that they had no vacant rooms. After about an hour of hassle, we got a mini single room with only 1 single bed insted of the double deluxe room we booked. Then later after fighting with the manager, he gave us a double bed room at 10:30 pm at night. Moreover the manager was rude and he said "Bhai thoda adjust toh karna padega (U have to adjust)" At night we just had a single blanket and when we asked for another blanket, he said that you get only 1 blanket per room and we do not have any more. Apart from this the air-conditioner was not working. There was no soap, no towel, no hot water in the cold morning. And this is just a small part of our woes. I am not going to claim any refund but just a small advice-if you cant manage a travel agency, dont run one! Never looking forward to your services again, nor recommending to anyone

A perfect budget hotel which you would want. Very near to railway station and main bus stand. Avg size rooms, good housekeeping. Room are veru much clean. One point to note is that the hotel does not have a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to stay in bangalore and looking for budget hotel accomodation.

inspite of having AC confirmed accommodation they first gave me Non-AC Accommodation. After a bit of angry discussion and after one hour they shifted me to AC accommodation. Staff was average. cleanliness is good. VALUE FOR MONEY PROPOSITION.

No serious hotel booking/travel site should even include in its database this travesty of a farce of a terrible establishment, and here's why. My room at the U G Royal in Bangalore was without a doubt the most disgusting, and the experience the very worst I've ever had in my many years of travel, in my entire life. The room (non-AC single) cannot have been cleaned prior to my checking in, or ever this year for the look of it. There was no no hot water, no toilet paper, nor towels in the overwhelmingly filthy bathroom with stained sink, leftover disposable shampoo containers, and cigarette butts and mold clogging the floor drain to boot. The bedroom was miserable, its ambiance dominated some lights not working, other at times flashing, at other times loudly buzzing (light tubes). All lights featured naked bulbs, all of which covered in dust. The sheets were stained but to my surprise neatly stretched and tucked, which demonstrated that someone, presumably cleaning staff, had actually visited the room with a view to improve it. However, the sheets were stained. Next to the bed, A drape covered a small window, covered in grime and soot. On a shelf under the nonfunctional non-flat screen TV I found an empty water jug. The experience was completely unreal. Fortunately I was so exhausted from my journey that I just collapsed into bed without having to struggle for sleep, head resting on pillows filled with foam rubber, covered in fleece blankets. Do not stay here, you're better off sleeping on the floor of the train station. Really, it's that bad.

I think there is not much more needed to be said. Our bed was full of bed bugs we were biten so bad we had to leave the room in the middle of the night. It's disgustingly dirty and the staff is as unfriendly as they can be. Stay away from any UG hotels and lodges in Bangalore since they all belong together.

i have stayed in 4 of the UG hotels .and this was the best among them. even then this was not that great . if ur budget is tight go for this one. location is good service not so great. decent rooms.dont expect too much

First of all the location of the hotel was in congested location, the hotel staff treatment was as if we were staying free of cost, we had booked 2 AC room's and during check in we were forced one AC and one non ac.however after check-in we found out that room was having AC for name sake and not working, one AC remote was used for the whole hotel, room phone was not working and later came to know that it wasn't working in any room's,, on entering the room we experienced a bad smell and the toilet was not clean with soap used by previous guest.the water in toilet was having the smell of drainage. All together a very bad experience.

They are asking printout.is that needed i don't think so.stay is ok room also.but the lift is very slow.cleartrip done a good job but the information is not passed to the hotel people.i showed the messages but they need original printout it seems
