sir what a bad experience it was????? how you people r working after confirming me a booking in swaraj resort you people are provide me a deluxe room in stead of premier room. on calling u people, you only say sorry sir it was done by mistake?????? Big and well located property but not maintained. not what is shown on website.High priced food.Very ill maintained rooms and dirty pool.Locals were allowed in any time.Enough space but need to work on maintenance and employ staff.
Rooms are big and spacious. But very ill maintained. Food is good priced. Bathroom is spacious but can be cleaner. Room service is good and well behaved. Such a big property can be better managed if handled professionally.
The place is under construction. It means that the existing building does not deserve cleaning! Leave alone the stairs, the rooms, mats etc., the reception is in shambles. We had booked a room online for 3 persons. While requesting for extra-bed, three people came and asked extra money for it. Apparently, the voucher they had did not show the amount already paid for an extra bed. Phone in the room did not work as the lines were cut due to construction work. The place is on the national highway. In case, one is motivated to stay there for the first one, please don't check-in/out at night, because you would not be able to see its exact location. There is no sign board visible at night. Get a mineral water outside the hotel, unless you are ready to pay Rs. 48/- for a litre of mineral water. We had briefed them that our check-out time is 5:30 in the morning. Well, there was no water in the morning. We had to rush to reception. After 15 minutes, the tap was still dripping. After getting ready somehow, we reached the main gate, just to see big lock there. There was no one on the main gate. It took a while for the reception guy to bring the keys.
I visit with my family. Booking facilities are not good. Totally disappointed services. For check in they kept us waiting for one hour. Rooms are also not maintained. AC was very noisy. Totally not happy.
I travelled with my family (and pet dog) to Bharatpur in Aug 2016. we had a confirmed booking through Collar Folk. Due to bad weather and a late start, we reached the resort at 7.30pm. The reception people stated my name before I said anything, so they were aware of my booking. Then they stated that they had sent a mail to cancel my booking. When I stated no such mail had been received by me, they changed their tack. They stated that they had no knowledge of my booking, but they had one room free. I asked to see the room. They showed me a room which was stinking as all the walls were fully damp. I refused the room and spoke to Collar Folk. Collar Folk confirmed my booking again and spoke to the hotel management. However, there was no solution as they had obviously given my confirmed booking to someone else. The state of the resort was very poor with no maintenance in the public areas. The washroom near the reception had no latches in the ladies section and was quite unhygienic. The path to the rooms was flooded with water. The management/reception is dishonest in their dealings. There are much better places in the vicinity.
