This is one of the closest Hotels to the Park Entrance ( 200 metres ) and it is also one of the best. The rooms are very large and comfortable and the garden is a nice bonus to relax in on returning from the Park. The Wi-Fi works well and the food is excellent. If this is within your budget range then you won't be disappointed. A few little tips that might help. If there is a group staying at the Birders Inn then get to Breakfast 20 minutes earlier than normal to ensure you are not late getting to the Park. The staff tend to fuss over the groups as they bring the main business on a regular basis. It's actually pretty cold first thing in the morning from November to February so bring a light fleece that can be discarded and easily carried after 9 am when it warms up. Bring water and snacks with you as the canteen inside the Park doesn't always open.
