Decent and clean room. Staff service was satisfactory. Food was tasty.
Staffs were prompt and quick in their work. Rooms were clean and well maintained having all the facilities. I had my food in the hotel it was superb in taste. It is highly recommendable.
A very good hotel, very helpful staff, reasonable dining room. The first time. Everything was great.
Newly built hotel, rooms were comfortable & good. Friendly & quick service. The restaurant has a buffet service and the food is affordable. It has a beautiful garden in it. Besides, an attractive village. Altogether great value.
Service was perfect and room condition was also very nice. Certainly value for the money.
The Vilas room type was clean and tidy. Staff were prompt and quick in their work. The breakfast was fabulous in taste. Location was wonderful.
Hotel had no heat in the room - and it was very cold the day we stayed - 3 degree C.
Due to non availability of hot water in bathrooms our departure was delayed by one hour. We kept on trying to contact the receptionist for hot water but there was no one at reception. Luckily could contact the watchman and he helped. While leaving the hotel the great receptionist was avaiable, but he was too aerrogent to listen to our complaint. Ther were plenty of mosquitoes in rooms. The water available in hotel was very very saltish. The hotel management should be wel advised to treat water before supplying for consumption in hotel rooms. This hotel is not worth staying.
At the risk of sounding extremely mean and nasty, I must that Udai Vilas can be easily given the skip! Will start off with a detailed review: 1. Value for money: Despite being a beautiful structure, the hotel is extremely overpriced for a place like Bharatpur that holds no other attraction except for the bird sanctuary. 2. Location: Considerably distant from the sanctuary and in the middle of nowhere...getting a public mode of transport is out of question. You absolutely need to have your own vehicle or rely on the hotel's expensive rental options. 3. Cleanliness: Since the resort seems to be constructed right in the middle of a swamp or wasteland, there are all sorts of crawly creatures everywhere. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love nature (otherwise why i would visit a bird sanctuary in the first place)!! But frogs in the swimming pool and numerous beetles or bugs in my bathtub aren't definitely my idea of fun!!! 4. Amenities: Everything seemed ok except for the ineffective AC. 5. Bathroom & Shower - Too many insects, no ventilation or exhaust fan! 6. Food - So overpriced that generally a simple meal for 2 without drinks would cost around Rs. 700-800. 7. Customer Service - The receptionist looked tense and ill at ease all the time (definitely not a great first or last impression)! Secondly, the number provided on their website doesn't work most of the time. So just in case you need to call them to confirm a reservation, you may bid farewell to that extra caution! The restaurant staff thankfully was eager to please and prompt.

This place has a lot of potential: it's pretty, there is a swimming pool, the rooms are spacious and beautiful - but there is a lot to be desidered by the service! The reception was the worst, but also the guy that brought us room service was not particularly friendly - only the staff at breakfast was smiling. On the positive side, it was the only place where they had a heater that worked - even if the satellite TV did not ...
I stayed with my family in hotel udai vilas palace bharatpur. I checked in with a great welcome. Reception staff is very polite and helpful. After express check in,i got deluxe room which was big and nice .food was delicious room service was excellent. We enjoyed in evening. With puppet show with bonfire. Plus point of this property of 24 hour hot water Overall my experience was good. I recommend for every one to stay in this hotel
most people who come to bharatpur do so to visit the fantastic Bird sanctuary in the town adjoining Agra in UP. the property is located well for those who want to be early birds for bird watching. its barely 4 kms away. needs no hunt as its smack on the wide free flowing national highway. the building has an old world charm. not low rise. open spaces. its passably clean. I reached late in the night and a sleepy but helpful and lone staffer allocated a room to us. We were checked in. the first thing we realised after entering the room was the droning army of mosquitoes. there was no repellent. the staffer had to be asked for it. in the bathroom which was large in size but without hot water in north indian winter. the staffer told us no hot water in the night, wait till morning 6 am. havent seen a property without hot water for years now even in india. since we had to start early we decided to crash out quickly. but couldnt. we had booked a king bed. when the covers came off we found that two single beds had been joined creating a huge bump in the middle. then the blanket revealed two single blankets had been put together to give an impression of a double one. we complained. the staffer as us to pack up and took us to another room and left. this was no different. there were two single beds joined to make a king bed. the bed posts were totally un-aligned. behind the pillows were a switch panel in which we were supposed to plug in our mobile chargers and a fan speed regulator. no choice we made peace with the handicap. morning breakfast was just palatable. we left early and when we returned surprise surprise. the twin beds had been moved back. fantastically aligned with the headrests. we complained at the time of checkout and the staffer didnt even mutter an apology. the booking was made on a travel site and it must look where its leading the customers worse in the afternoon we had a long drive ahead of us so we decide to leave after lunch. we went to the restaurant. there was an open area with chairs and tables. but the staff refused to serve lunch in the tempting sunny space. the menu was shocker. the prices were beyond exorbitant. we left without lunch. at another more premium property the prices of food items were almost 40% cheaper. and food better than the breakfast we had. on short stay trips one ignores minor hiccups. but joining twin beds to try and pass them off as king beds with no double blanket or duvet is making life difficult for customers and downright bad attitude. avoid the place. there are better in the city posting one picture to show how the bed in the room given to us turn from king size in the night to twin in the afternoon
hotel is very nice & food quality is awesome.. room is very clean ! Staff service is good .Mr. bablu and devendra & Ashok very helpful staff . all fewe well & enjoy full stay whole night .,all is well
