Summary: The Royal Court is a nice place to stay in Bhimtal for family, friends and couples as well. The staff is very polite and well trained. Loved my stay here.
Location: Hotel is located in Bhimtal. It is very easy to find the way via Google Maps.
Rooms: We had our stay in the luxury suite. The suite had 2 rooms,1 drawing room and a kitchen with microwave, fridge and gas as well. There was a attached balcony(not very big though)to sit back and relax in the lil chilling weather.
Food: The food was really YUMMMM!!! Firstly in the evening we ordered french fries(Very crisp), aalu sandwich(was tasty but had mayo in it) and tea(it was good). We sat in the open lawn(which is neither too big nor too small), and had these snacks while enjoying the weather.
For dinner, we ordered paneer, daal makhani, missi roti, tandoori roti, chilly garlic noodles. Everything was good in taste.
For the breakfast there was buffet, it had a variety: Starting from milk, cornflakes to puri sabzi. There were muffins, poha, eggs, mix prantha(WHICH were VERY TASTY!!)etc. Overall, the food was GREAT!!
Activities: There was a pool table, TT table, Carrom Board, Badminton, Dart game, Cycles for adults as well as kids. We enjoyed a lot playing these games in the half open area, with ongoing music (which was being played by the hotel staff). The ambience was nice with music, games, people around and lovely weather!! For kids, there were cars(to sit and drive),cycles, kids scooty and more.
Staff: Staff was courteous. Whatever was required they provided withing minutes of calling. They even guided for nice places to visit around.
Overall, a NICE and ENJOYABLE stay we had !!!
They have variety of rooms and no 2 rooms are similar. some of the rooms are very small. The occupancy is not high even during season bcoz of which they show different options but charge extra. It is more of a family run hotel and not a professionally managed one. Although the owner of the Hotel (when he is around) is humble and takes good care of the guests. But the staff is not professionally trained.
Food quality is not up to the mark. Particularly the south Indian food preparation is tasteless. Location wise this Hotel does not have any views worth mentioning and is about 20 odd km from Nainital. The only saving grace for our kids was the variety of battery operated cars and bikes. Overall our stay was ok but not worth to spend more money as one can get better options nearer to Nainital
Had a great trip of nainital with Royal Court Hotel Bhimtal. Nice Place, Clean Rooms Awesome Food & Well Behaved Staff. Thax a Lot. We will visit again this hotel in future. A Lovely & Peaceful palace in the lap of himalaya.
I had a very bad experience in start of my stay at this hotel
1. Hotel Manager mis informed us and gave me one smaller room where i have booked 3 luxury rooms
2. He gave me used room woth used towels and bathroom
3. Gym facility was not working and hotel staff didnt help in getting it fixed
VERY UNETHICAL SERVICE AND IN NO WAY IT IS A 4 STAR PROPERTY
Reliable brands like tripadvisor, goibibo, MakeMyTrip should carefully and sensibly rate hotels . Hotel is marketing on these companies rating certificate on their website and hitel premise
Failure in service impacts thesecompanies brand image and customer trust.
Visited with family. Most of the comments look good here ..but we were disappointed. Doesnt qualify as 4 star.
Staff is good and responsive. Rooms were just ok.. Overall cleanliness expected from a 4 star was missing.
Breakfast was below average..
