The hotel is located in a busy part of the city, it is a business hotel and not at all a good choice for holiday. The room that they gave us was really bad, dark, smelly & in a corner. After our protests they shifted us to a really good room. The food at the restaurant is good though. There are also issues with the travel arrangements they made for us. The car was not on time to pick us up at the airport, we had to wait around 45 mins. Then when we called the hotel they arranged for a second car, in the mean time the original car arrived. There was a total goof up. We also availed a car for sight seeing to Konarak & puri, but the driver they provided had no knowledge of local things and was going around asking people for directions. Hotel is itself alright but the services need to be improved.
good to stay n njoy the beauty of the town.
The hotel staff are very helpful. Food quality is poor specially the buffet dinner.

This hotel is really very nice and lovely. We had a reunion with our friends here and it was so really amazing and exciting for all of us. We were extremely happy to present out there enjoying our time and taking the pleasure of the delicious dishes.
The HHI in Bhubaneswar belongs to the group which owns and operates their flagship hotel in Kolkata. My two day stay there was comfortable and free of the irritations one often encounters in hotels is smaller towns which are not part of a national chain. My room was of reasonable size, and though in need of some maintenance ( polish, etc) , it was generally comfortable. Though my room was on the second floor facing the front of the hotel, it as totally quiet at night, ensuring decent sleep. One feature I did not like was that the temperature was centrally controlled ( there was a defunct controller on the wall!) and it was far too cold. I had to switch off the AC from time to time to raise the temperature to a reasonable level. The breakfast buffet was just fine with reasonable choice and the staff very accommodating. In fact, all the staff right from the reception to the security guards were very helpful and pleasant. There is a coffee shop which I have reviewed separately and a restaurant serving more elaborate meals. All said, a good choice for short stays for business or tourism. In case you arrive by train, exit the station via platform / gate number one. It's literally a five minute drive to the hotel via this route.
I stayed in this hotel for one night. The location of the hotel was good. Railway station was within 1 km and airport was roughly 5 km from the hotel. The hotel lacks ambience. The room was good and spacious. On entering the room when I checked mini bar item I found that one item was missing. I called up house keeping to place the missing item but the guy took almost 15 to 20 minutes to came. Management should see that all the mini bar items are properly placed before any guest check-in. Secondly, next day when I called up house keeping in the morning none responded. I had to then called up reception to inform house keeping to come to my room. Buffet food was good.
Rooms are well spacious with all necessary aminetes. While checking traditional welcome procedure with fruit juice gives a good feeling. Room service is good and other staff is very responsive will less lead time and more over they are well mannered
The Hotel is very good and service is also excellent.Good atmosphere for a quiet hotel. Cosy, clean and comfortable. Beautiful rooms and beautiful decor throughout. Great value for money all round. Mr Prashant Mallick was very helpfull throughout my trip.
