The Bathroom was done very well but Hot water was not constant. As we visited during a particularly cold spell, we did not get enough hot water in the morning. Additional plug points for mobile chrger etc are not available.

The room alloted was very comfortable and clean with refrigerator, which was very good. Service was quick and fast. Staff was well trained and polite. Dining option was great. Location was very convenient. I would highly recommend to others.

We went in a large group of 34 people on an office off-site and stayed at Lallgarh for 1 night. The property is large and beautiful with multiple pretty lush green lawns. The rooms are average with old furniture. Also, cleanliness may not be the strongest suit of the hotel. The housekeeping and room service were fairly terrible too. We requested for towels and drinking water on multiple occasions but weren't given any. The food was fairly average (oily and bland) and buffets had very limited choice. Overall great property but poorly run, wouldn't recommend for a stay.

It's the old Palace annexe - and nothing has been done to bring it to the super luxury status - this is not, I repeat not, a Taj hotel with a $20m refit. The rooms are old and tired, but probably no worse than the plumbing in Buckingham palace. I don't think indian palaces were designed with the sweet smells of drains in mind - but our room had a lot of camphor and bleach - so the staff were doing their best Positive points - staff were very helpful - I broke the safe and they fixed it in 10 minutes. The restaurant was too small for the hotel so we had to wait 30 mins in the bar. If these sorts of levels of service get you down, then stick to the chain hotels - we were expecting Fawlty Towers based on some reviews, and only had good service. Swimming pool is fascinating - they had drained it - but I would never recommend anyone to swim in an Edwardian swimming pool in Europe let alone India. Lots of fascinating extinct species on the walls - if you are a wildlife lover like us you will cry a lot at the stupidity of mankind.

Room size big but reception area is very poor. At first instance, your you would think that you have entered from wrong side. Poorly maintained property. In room fridge is there but no Mini bar. The fridge was off. I am not able to understand the reason behind putting it. This situation was in all five rooms. The toilet accessariers are of very bad quality. the moisturizer and shampoo were kept in the refilled bottles. No toothbrush and toothpaste were there in the kit. Breakfast was very bad. Quality of bedsheets, quilts were very very bad Overall very bad experiance. A 2 star hotel or a guest house is better than this

The hotel is not as expected, maintenance isn't good. Our bathroom smelled bad as didn't have a ventilation system. Room was big a nicely designed but again didn't have any windows or ventilation system. We were place close to the reception and restaurant so it was noisy. Will not come back or recommend.

We stayed one night when arriving to the Palace we thought it was going to be magic but as soon as we reached reception we realised it was a bit ran down. The mainenance was not sufficient and the bathroom was smelly. That night there was a nice engagement party at the Palace's front garden, good for the party guests, but sleeping was a challenge. Also you had to pay for Internet, being a 4 stars hotel...and it was not available in the room.

Demo Trip Choose rooms near central courtyard (Room 101, 102). You will feel lonely in the other sections of the hotel.
