Good food....
by ravibhalotia88 on
As I attended my friends wedding in aug 9 2020 Food was awesome specially I liked the biryani was lajwab. Deserts were very tasty. Beautiful ambience and all the food was being prepared and the food comes from chefs kitchen is excellent and delicious. We rather met the chef , Chef Kamal who was very helpful and knows the taste of the people who come to dine. The ambience was poor as the banquet function table and chairs were dirty. Rooms were not properly cleaned.
Thankyou.

Not worth even a rupee

silver oak really proved to be the worst ever experience of our lives and we can not ever refer this hotel to any one for any event. This organisation has cheating, bragging about their hotel & services with huge lies and commitments, most untrained and shameless staff that also are very rude in common.
Rooms & services : F&B manager Animesh shown rooms, told us lies that 25 rooms will be all sanitized for our wedding. We found, every single room has already used bedsheets, pillow covers, blanket covers. Most of the rooms ac were not working, some rooms did not even have phones to call and complaint. All tired guests were complaining about same and waiting for bedsheets to be changed and saw manager only acting of being busy and changed sheets only of 3 rooms out of 25.None of the rooms ever had water, when asking for it on call, They came in 30-60 min, sometimes after many multiple calls, sometimes water did not even come.
Most rooms did not have the basic things like towels, hangers, no arrangements to hang towels, door mat (out of bathroom), phones, cleanliness, fresh bed sheets or covers on anything, working acs, geysers or any arrangements for hot water to drink or bath and their services failed to arrange it totally too from kitchen to bring hot water to drink.
Most of rooms keys were not working so all tired guests also had issues waiting at the door of rooms at corridor of both floors, helpless totally. Elders with health issues were so helpless to wait out of room and none of the staff were present to attend or help them. Due to these problems, many guests had to change their rooms 2 to 3 times with all that luggage and suffering of hours and waiting and still this problems were not solved.
Manager Ashraf Ahmed is to be blamed totally for these above problems.
Food & beverage arrangements:
Managers named Animesh, Ranjeet and chef Kamal kumar were handling these.
From first day, food quality was very poor, cold, badly prepared and so was the presentation including the table arrangements and torn out dirty smelly cloths covering those tables along with most poor staff to manage the food serving on buffet. On completion of any dish either it did not come back on table at all or took 45-60 min and the dish was never the same as previous one even with same name. In 3 days of hotel services, guests never got even good coffee or tea and that too poorly served on waiting for hours. Kitchen always prepared far less tea and coffee for people.
On very decently complaint and explanation to chef Kamal Kumar, he tried to take care of it on second day, food was good that day but he totally failed on this again on third day. Re-using same saved food (from other ongoing weddings), using soda in food (which messed up health of people), repeating some dishes in every meal were also common mistakes. All three days, staff were very consistent in very bad management and serving of food, quantity, re-filling and timings.
But after that the last day became a disaster when they started speaking about making the rest of the payment first to the guests and then they would refill the food that were badly prepared too. All the payments were made timely and as per already discussed installments so waiters talking like these to guests were more then next level problematic and very very insulting plus this could result in fight between both the families' sides.
The cheater organisation: mistakes were done deliberately in order to achieve more business asiding all the governments guidelines for corona period the hotel took 2-3 wedding at one day and this happen on first & third days of wedding.
Pathetic

Only the outlook of the hotel is attractive and trendy but innerside is pathetic. From bed to bathroom all were just nightmare to me. Water seepage was to much from bathroom ceiling as like it's raining in there. Did not get hit water even after wasting two buckets of water as advised by room service guy. Dirty bed sheet and lowest possible lightning in room. Serving food after ordering even at restaurant took 40mins, although it was not tasty at all. overall my one night stay was a nightmare..I was so upset that even did not click a pic, sorry guys
