We stayed here for three nights in February and while the location is in the vicinity, the area around is a dump. Beds were basic and the furniture was minimalistic. All fine, and considering what one has come for maybe that is appropriate. Breakfast, however is not the most hygienic. The butter and jam is left open and could cause collection of germs. One of us developed severe diarrhea after the visit. The one very disturbing thing is the early morning commotion. Apart from the outside chanting at 5 am in the morning, it feels like a horde of elephants stomp through the corridors while people prepare to leave. It almost reminds me of a student hostel rather than a hotel. Internet is very slow. Highest grading is three stars. And that is being generous!

Hotel Bodhgaya Regency is a huge property in comparison to most properties around this place. The USP is the proximity to the main Bodhgaya temple which is around 1-1.5 kms walk from the hotel. The restaurant serves good food and service is decent. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Sleep quality is excellent. Bathrooms are huge and have bath tubs. There is no wi fi in the rooms, however, its available in the lobby area. Its free for the guests staying here. The hotel receives a lot of foreign tourists especially from Thailand, Japan and other Buddhist dominated countries.

We stayed at Hotel Bodhgaya Regency for two nights, It was out and out a wonderful stay, from the express check in, to the courteous hotel staff. Everything went according to our expectations. The rooms are clean and spacious with modern facilities. The front desk were extremely helpful, My special thanks to Amit and Nayan at front desk, If you are look for a convenient stay in Bodhgaya dont miss this property out. A big hotel with ample parking place. Reception counter staff are good and helpful. They were able arrange the priest for pindadhan. The rooms are spacious so also the bathroom. Well maintained and kept. The restaurant was also good.

I visited in 2016 sep with my group Rooms are very nice big and with all modern facilities.Staff are very friendly.Free wifi.Food is also good with varities.Walking distance from 80 ft buddha and mahabodhi temple.
