Hotel Heritage Bodhgaya

We were returning from Uttrakhand to Kolkata, when we realized that we could travel till Bodh Gaya for a safe night stay instead of staying over a smaller place on NH19. Searched thru Google and found this place. Booked it over whatsapp, but were bit apprehensive as we were travelling with two kids and a pet. However it was unfounded. Hotel is on main road with dominos at ground floor. We were given a family room with a king size + single bed, which fit our need. It had a large work area in addition, which was helpful for son to join his online class. We also took benefit of its central connectivity by booking a auto rickshaw to do a quick tour of Bodh gaya in evening. Staff was eager and helpful to assist in anyway. As we had to check out early in morning, they assisted us with same and it was overall a great experience for a little diversion from NH19. Sure to stay them when we do a proper trip to Bodh Gaya next time

We were booked into this hotel by our Indian travel agent and we were robbed. The staff have no English at all and are as friendly as rattle snakes. The rooms are big but that's where the good news ends, the bathroom looks like it hasn't been cleaned in years and the bed linen doesn't fit the bed. The hotel is over a kilometre form the restaurant strip which means you have to get a tuk there and back. Overall at 50 dollars a night stay away/

Chose this hotel based on Tripadvisor reviews, wish we hadn't. Staff was helpful, but that's about it. Room furnishings were cheap, broken, dingy. Holes in the bedsheets. TV did not work. Dust on the furniture. Table wobbled. Phone did not work, had to walk down to reception when hot water issues arose. Bathroom sink had a loose faucet. One drain for the entire bathroom at the bottom of the sink, which meant that the shower flooded the entire bathroom and we had to deal with that when wanting to use the sink. Fearless rats in the Saffron restaurant downstairs. Mosquitos under the table. Grimy tablemats, but food was edible.

We stayed in HOTEL HERITAGE BODHGAYA IN JULY. Hotel offers very good service . Staff is very polite cooperative and friendly. More ever The saffron restaurant offers very delicious healty and tasty food. Rooms are neat and clean with comfortable beds and clean lenin. Bathrooms are airy and fresh with all needed facilities. Room service was perfaect. Overall it is a very good hotel to stay with family and friends and even for Business trip because of its accessibility.

I went there last month ..I had a fabulous experience..I was greeted with a smile an also the staff was friendly. The prices were also reasonable.overall the hotel is really nice and comfortable to stay ..
