The stay was comfortable in this hotel. Room was decent and well maintained. Staff Service was prompt. The food was good in taste. It is value for money.

Hotel is very good overall. Needs improvement: water jet hose is necessary in WC. Bath tub size is small. Finishing of wash basin corners and other sharp places are necessary. Staff are cooperative but lack in speaking English. Hotel has to maintain well its facilities if the hotel management needs lots of foreign tourists.

The rooms were very clean and everyday the room service people used to change the towels. The service was outstanding of the staffs. Breakfast was amazing. It is worth the money.

The experience was good as the rooms were neat and clean though the service in the hotel was average. I did not avail any amenities in the hotel but would recommend this hotel to friends.

The hotel is clean and functional but not luxurious. The staff are friendly and helpful, the hotel is close to the Maha Bodhi temple and other temples, so a good place to stay. Carry your own slippers if you are finicky about using the chappals in the rooms- they are not disposable and have been worn by earlier guests. Food choices are limited to North Indian cuisine, few South Indian items and some Indian- Chinese. Surprisingly no local food items are served though Gaya is famous for many delicacies. Otherwise food is good and they are helpful if you want food without oil or spices or any such preference.

I came to Gaya on a personal religious visit. While searching for hotels, did not find the usual brands and chains and therefore settled for a royal residency. Very clean, large room (304!) brilliant hospitality. When we missed our breakfast slot due to arriving late from the temple, a generally lavish spread was nevertheless arranged. It is close to the monastery district in Bodhgaya. Recommend that you take an electric tuk tuk - cost us about 300 for 2 hours during which we saw the monasteries. We had seen the Mahabodh temple the previous evening. Thanks for a very pleasant stay and making our travels safe and smooth.

After a long drive to reach Bodh Gaya our hotel that was booked was totally not up to standard so found Royal Residency and moved. The staff showed us all the room types to choose all were spacious, clean and had 2 toilets. The restaurant has great food with a good variety. All staff have been friendly and happy to help. Must be one of the best in Bodh Gaya. Free internet is a bonus.

Stayed in 2 period which is 26 Sept - 3 Oct & 12 Oct to 20 Oct. Spacious room size and good shower pressure, Mattress and bedsheet are of poor quality. Hotel is clean but poorly maintained. No service at all in this hotel especially the only restaurant where service doesn't exist. No basic service and hygiene even grooming. One of my undershirt missing from laundry returned and no apologies at all and they are showing curiosity as how it could happen, which never happen before in this hotel as per one of the staff. If you were to swing around here, I would recommend elsewhere. This property is considered as the best you can find in Bodhgaya until Oaks Bodhgaya opens it's door which is an international hotel chain operate and managed as well.

The hotel rooms were very spacious. The shower was amazing, much better than some luxury hotels I have stayed at. Most rooms seem to have a separate wc along with a master bath. I had lunch and dinner here and both times the food was cooked fresh. The rooms were very clean. Bed sheets, towels etc were all clean. Amenities included room slippers, comb, sewing kit, hair dryer, electric kettle, cable, comb, toothbrush. Not easy to find in a small town in India. Room service/House keeping was very prompt. Highly recommend for visitors to Gaya.

Demo Trip Rooms facing the inner garden are quieter. Choose rooms away from conference facilities - Setting up is a noisy business.
