I had a fantastic stay at haveli maan-jee, on my first night I arrived very late in the evening due to my train coming in at 11pm. Despite this, I had a very warm welcome from Dinesh (the owner) and we made chai together in the kitchen before going to bed. I thought my room was pretty big compared to some I have had in the past and notably clean. The Haveli itself is on the main street into town and only a short walk away from the palace, the lake, restaurants and tour operators. It is a family run place and they all treated me like one of their own - nothing was too much too ask! When I told Dinesh I was going to write a review on trip advisor he asked if I would include his details for future guests to contact him on. Nice and clean room. Quietly and lovely family. If you want to you can have very spicy really Indian food. If you will not it there are some restaurants with European food. The havely located in center of town near Palace and bazar. Highly recomended!
Really nice guest house in a good location in Bundi. Denesh will help you with anything you need. Also the rest of the family help out by cooking tasty meals and bringing sweet chai. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone going to Bundi.
Clean, small simple. Working hot water. Food was okay. Lovely family that were very welcoming, although I feel the owner is getting a bit desperate for customers, probs cause its in need of an update, but he has promised he will get wifi.. If your not looking for anything fancy and just want a clean room with bathroom and a welcoming family then here is good. Also the ladies will help you wrap a sari if you ask nicely :) I've said very good and not average because they tried very hard to make sure I was happy and also cause for 2 people it was only 500 p/night and 150 each for the meals so for how little they charge (therefore how little they have to work with) it was very good.
This place is cheap and a nice little sanctuary from the hustle of bundi streets. There's no wifi which is annoying to walk up the street to use. No tv so nights can be a tad state at the wall which by the way definitely needs some cleaning. It's 500inr for a night so it's very basic but it doesn't need some basic upgrading. Beautiful family and lovely food, owner is very helpful and all very polite. So end result needs some work but is good :)
