a very average hotel.low key and hidden.basic facilities.food is reasonable.what makes the difference is the people who are running it.specially Mrs. Sethi.they will go all out to run errands for you.give you the extra heater.make special food for you.even arrange for a make up artist in need.a little overpriced but friendly.
Food is excellent. Facilities are ok. Location was very peaceful. Nearby the market and other sightseeing points. Bit expensive. Shd not be more than 1500 per night.need maintenance and upgrade asap as the condition is just ok.
Provides rooms with Breakfast and Wifi at very reasonable prices.
Located in a very quite section of this Sector 24, with lots of Parking.
Small, neat and clean lobby, but the approach to the lift/stairs is not friendly to seniors, and the corridors are very shabby and dirty.
The property is huge but not well maintained as the building colour is peeling off, the lawn is in very poor condition.
The rooms are decent and just as good as a 3 star place would be expected to be. The toilet accessories are well provided and the sleep quality is excellent, as the mattresses are just right and so are the pillows.
The rook key card is really bad, and at times you may have to patiently keep on inserting and re-inserting the card several times (even up to over 10 times) to get the lock to activate and unlock the door for you.
The safe provided in the room is locked (they are usually open at all hotels to enable you to feed your pass code and operate the safe), and to use it you would have to call housekeeping to open the same.
The TV channels available are so few that you would be reminded of the days you only had Door Darshan and watched the weekly movie or songs. Very sad state.
The restaurant where we had our breakfast was neat, and the service was excellent. The variety was very limited in the buffet, but adequate, considering the 3 star status. Though it was included in the room charges, if one had to pay, then it was just Rs.236/- per head, and they had Fresh cut fruits, Juice, Chaach, Tea/Coffee, Cornflakes, toast, butter & Jam, parathas, omlettes, samosas. What more could one eat?
The check out was officially 1200 but they allowed us till 1400. However our departure was at 1930, and they turned down our request to hold even 1 out of the 3 rooms we had till this time, and we had to pay for 1 extra night for these 5-1/2 hours.
Rooms are spacious but, property is not well maintained. AC is bit noisy may be as it's quite old..our room had mini fridge, coffee maker, locker etc. Also, you get an shared balcony so, one can sit and relax for some time provided privacy is maintained. It has suites as well on ground floor.
Hotel is near to International Doll museum (around 1 KM.) and rest of the attractions are also not that far so, not on worry from distance perspective. It takes nearly 15-20 minutes to reach from Railway station. Hotel is in sector-24B.
It's an government owned hotel. Breakfast is not much rich but, good to have it as it's better to have breakfast on time while roaming around late in a city.
Rooms are big, but not well kept, the gallery through which one goes is exposed to environment and hence badly painted with ugly sots spread throughout. When I went it was raining and the entire water was in the passage leading to my room.
Ac was noisy and would remain on even after removing the smart key from the power socket; nobody is bothered about saving electricity.
Service was quick and thet responded to all our requests. Overall if you can live with the feel of unaesthetic, not-well-kept place, it is ok.
Food was average to above average, with ready made omellete in the morning and tasting of oil it was cooked in.
On Thursday the restaurant was almost empty for dinner while on Friday it was full. There is a vocal musician to entertain you with live music and songs and ghazals etc. That was good. Otherwise restaurant feel is nice.
Lifts were working but to go down one has to press the go-up button etc.
It is a nice large property and has tremendous scope for improvement; I believe it should be run more professionally.
