The Altius Hotel

The hotel Altius is one of the best looking hotels in Chandigarh, their staff followed all the covid 19 norms and provided us with a safe and sanitised room. The location of the hotel is very good,the accessibility to restaurants and Malls is very good.

we had gone to Altius Hotel for one night..Pathetic Hotel..Crushed Linens and highly poor quality towels.. Bathroom so small you could stand properly also no towel racks.. Overall a complete waste of money ,not worth it

Lovely place to stay in located close to everything was in the city for just two days booked this one last minute really enjoyed the stay. Especially to the professionally attained Yadav Pradeep was at par to help in every possible way.... will love to stay back & strongly recommend

We had very great party and services and food everybody liked and we will be agian doing party very soon thanku Mr pardeep yadav and chef Amrit also altius is locketd on the prime location will advise to do party's and keep chef spical bhrvaa golgpaa

If you are a business traveler or someone who value their peace of mind, please avoid this place at all costs! They charge for a lost key card. The card is a generic white plastic RFID card with no logo or text which is very hard to differentiate from anything else. The reception staff mentioned that this policy is mentioned on every online portal. Upon showing that this is not mentioned on agoda.com (from where I made my reservation), their response was, "but it is on the other websites!". After having stayed in multiple locations that did not have a similar policy, it would have been nice to be made aware of this rather non-standard rule upon arrival / check-in. Shoddy WiFi: The WiFi has a complicated access portal where the password is generated and sent on the phone number. I was told this would have been done on check-in, but it never happened. So I called the front desk who generated a password for me. The portal requires the login window to remain open at all the times and even after doing so, it repeatedly drops off and prompts for the password again. (I eliminated a device specific issue as I confirmed this on both my laptops and cellphone). One of the staff did come to my room and verbally gave me another username/password pair which still did not resolve the issue. Also, the password/username automatically expires at 12AM and one needs to call the front desk to get a new one. Having lost the key, the staff at the reception was more fixated on the key card being lost and the charges rather than helping me get to the room. They made me go to the room twice once with a master key to search for the key in my room. This is simply unacceptable late in the night (~12AM). Upon checkout, I pointed out again that I was never made aware of the policy and that it was never mentioned on agoda, I was literally shouted at and reprimanded by the staff.
