We had stayed in this hotel several times before, when it was under a different management (Gitanjali Hotel). Now under the new management, the hotel has been transformed into a top quality hotel, with very high tariff. I paid Rs.4000 for one night. However, the location is very good, as many big shopping outlets like Pothys, RMKV, Nalli, Chennai Silks, Sri Kumaran silks etc, are at a walking distance. When we went for lunch in the dining area of the same hotel, the service was very slow and it took them almost half-an-hour to serve. Clearly, it was under-staffed. Otherwise, we strongly recommend this hotel, as it is an above average hotel with a great location. The airport also is near and the taxi (Fast track - Indigo car) charged us only Rs.230/- as compared to the autos who fleece customers.

We are fully satisfied with our stay and we can say in one word - Excellent. One small stool in the bath will be necessary, especially for old people. Secondly exhaust is a must in the bath.

The hotel is very close to Ranganathan Street, which is one of the very heavily crowded shopping areas in Chennai. The lobby and the reception area of the hotel looks really grand. The room also looked equally good. We stayed there only for about 12 hours due to the nature of our work. The breakfast was also elaborate and tasted good. The lift could have been maintained well. Smells bad.

Pros The. Nagar and pondy Bazaar are at your footsteps. 20 minutes drive to airport. You can park your car at the basement which is plus at the busiest location. Cons Though it's 3 star hotel amenities and rooms are not worth it. Non-veg at the roof garden better than the veg restaurant at ground floor. But both could be improve the quality

We were in South india trip when we started our trip from this hotel. Expectation was little more but could not live up to. Location is very good, bang on the market area. Rooms are not spacious at all. Very conjusted. Bathroom amenities are very average. Safe locker doesn't work. It seems none of the room safe locker is working. Little strange. Food was OK. Pricing was normal. Overall an average stay.

Where do I begin? the day of check in the toilet was not flushed. tiles were broken under the sink and the inner part of the washroom door was mouldy. shower was clogged all plumbing fixtures were very dirty. As we were in a tour group to Tirupathy temple we had no intention of complaining about all this. It was supposed to be a one night stay unfortunately the stay was extended another day. Some staff were very helpful but most could not be bothered about our requests. At least 6 staffs were sleeping in the lobby at 3am and they weren't even trying to hide it from us. Wifi was only available at the lobby. The Restaurant buffet set up need to rearrange so that there are no bottleneck issues. long queue because of the positioning. staff are very efficient in replenishing the food but they have to go through the queue. buffet line should have back access for the staff to replenish. maybe should set up different stations for different type of items. the best thing about this hotel is the location.

Visited this hotel with my family..kids and parents. Booked 2 rooms. The smell in the room through out the stay is unstandable. The floor was sticky, the toilets was slimy and very dirty, the lights are so dim and eerie! One word...Please don't waste your money here!
