I was travelling to Chennai from Mumbai by Air and was on a very tight budget. I was quite aware of the unreasonable fares charged by auto rickshaws there. On the Internet I found that the train station Trisulam was at a walking distance from the airport and I could take a train to Park station that was close to Chennai Central the place I was going. The fare was just Rs10. I later found out this hotel which was reasonably priced. They were providing complementary buffet breakfast. I booked this hotel. This hotel is about 600 meters from Park station... Do I just walked there. I reached there at 9am. The room was just enough for me. Air conditioner was good. I was disappointed that the water was not hot enough for a good bath. The complementary breakfast was very good. The staff was also very polite. I did not spend much time of the day in the hotel and did not use the free WiFi provided by the hotel As I was leaving for Mumbai early in the morning, I asked the reception to wake me up at 4 am. He woke me up on time. That's all

I regularly stay in Chennai for business and pleasure before moving on to other parts of South India. I booked this hotel having read Trip Advisor reviews and was very impressed. The staffs were helpful, the room was clean and large with a comfortable bed and the same facilities you would find in a good 3 star hotel. There is a small restaurant at which you can get simple meals as well as your complimentary breakfast. A travel agent has a desk near reception which could be useful. The location of the hotel was good.

Tiny rooms. Crowded restaurant. Average food - though the idli was excellent. Friendly staff. God location if you want something near the Chennai Central Railway station. Downmarket locality. Room (105) was windowless and tiny with a tinier bathroom. Bathroom floor gradient was in the opposite direction so the whole mini bathroom floor got wet. Cleanliness could be better. TV sound control was not working - actually the remote was not working. Not entirely sure, but found something that looked like a bed-bug on the settee near the bathroom door, and after that got paranoid. Wifi did not work properly, had to rely upon mobile hotspot.

Located in periamet, the hotel offers good connectivity with most parts of the city. While the area is known for narrow lanes, this hotel has a decent approach which is comfortable even for a SUV. Has it's own restaurant and buffet breakfast. Hygienic living. Try to pick suite rooms for better comfort as the normal rooms are not spacious enough for a small family. Courteous staff and fairly secured.

This hotel is very well located-pretty close to Chennai Central Railway station and only 6 km from the Marina beach. The bad thing is there is no ventilation or view for room and all windows open against another blank wall. Breakfast was OK. The hotel is good for business travellers.
