I stayed in the hotel for 2 nights and looking at the money I paid for the stay I am very much satisfied. Staff at reception desk was excellent and very cooperative. Food quality was very good and was to my taste. I would like to stay again here if I happen to visit Chennai again.

Purpose of using Travel Guru: we were travelling to Chennao without a hotel booking! I was a regular user of Trace Guru at different locations of the country during business trip. So I was confident that 'My Guru' wil not let me on street this time also. So we leisurely drove to Chennai stopped over at 11 for dinner at an outskirt Resort. My colleague was tired and was insisting me to stay back in that resort. But when I told about my Experience with my GURU. He agreed. We ended up booking an excellent hotel at unbelievable price within our limit. By the time we reached hotel at 1.30 AM our booking was confirmed and we were given a similar greeting as if we are regular customers. Thanks a lot for my GURU. By looking at the quality of the room and over all service my colleague insisted my to continue for one more day and cancel our present existing booking in other hotel! In fact he was proudly telling that he is staying in that hotel to his colleague and even changed the location of interview of one of the candidate to hotel from our office. Overall it was an extremely satisfactory business trip to Chennai. Thanks a lot to my Guru Travel Guru.

I had an awesome experience staying at Clarion hotel. Amenties were provided in full and staff were cooperating as especially.rooms were spacious and always kept clean, provided ironing board also.I stayed in hotel for 1 nights. food served in restaurant was awesome, specially chicken malai tikka and schezwan fish. In house guests can enjoy delicious buffet at discounted rates. Hotel is located at the center and you have easy access to transportations. It also offers covered parking. but they allowed us to checkin by 12 only. they are not entertaining 24 hour check-in check-out. and Free WIFI access limited to lobby only. except these two points I am very much satisfied with clarion hotel.

This hotel is designed for the business traveller, The decor is contemporary. Only issue was noise through the night, and the opaque glass doors to the bathroom.

Having stayed here for more than two years one thing is clear, they are lowering their standard everytime. This used to be a good value for money option till recently, now because of apparent mismanagement, poorly maintained facility and insensitive staff(mostly new but also includes the manager Mr Arvind) it's not advisable to anyone. After my conversation with the staff, I was made to understand that the new management is responsible for all these changes. If you (new management) are reading this, please get back some quality people with atleast decent communication skills at front desk, maintain the rooms better and most importantly hire a professional manager who knows what he/she is doing. If not for its location this facility would have shut shop a long time back. I have decided to move on from here and looking for another place nearby(office is in Nandanam), any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

Clarion President Hotel Chennai constituted a roller coaster of pros and cons. On the positive side was the breakfast in the restaurant. A reasonable amount of varieties, but most of all very fresh and tasty. Especially the south Indian items were mouth watering and it was a pleasure to get a variety of fresh fruit juices (not the canned artificial ones). The location of the hotel was great, with walking distance to City Mall, Saravana Bhavan (restaurant) and Marina Beach. Cons consisted of the room and corridors. Though we were upgraded on arrival, the room was in a miserable state, with a distinct smell of mould. Housekeeping was absent and had to be reminded on several occasions. Complimentary tea and coffee facilities where not replaced and so on. The hotel was probably once built as a decent 4 star hotel, however, due to lack of maintenance, I would now rate it as a 2+

Hi First time I booked hotel through Tripadvisor. Over all booking experience was good. By observations of said property are as under: Overall good property, rates and location. But services require improvement specially at reception. Check in experience: I reached hotel around 3 15 PM and rooms were not ready for check in. There were many guest struggling for check in. I called wifi password so that at least I can check message during waiting but they refused to provide that and informed that wi fi will be activated only after check in. After 20-25 I got the room. During my one day visit I saw that many guest are struggling for various services at reception. I called 3 -4 times to get free wifi password even after check in. After check in room I read hotel reviews in more detail and found that hotel is getting negative reviews since long and responsible hotel person giving standard replies to these reviews. It looks that management is not taken reviews seriously. I always book hotel which should have Swimming pool facility but there swimming pool was not clean. I informed them and requested them to clean swimming pool but it has been informed that this is not clean due to cyclone in Chennai 3 -4 days back. Just to conclude: Hotel is giving all services and facilities but not on time. I think the just need to improve service timings.

I stayed for 2 nights.. Though I didnt liked the dinner on both the days however the breakfast was much better... however what irked me was the billing which was inappropriate and wrong and they were not ready to refund it. They said that we will adjust with your next visit. After a lot of discussion, they finally gave in and refunded the excess charges, I suggest you to avoid the hotel. Also it is one of the most prime locations of the city, prefer other hotels please.

We happened to stay in one of the most comfortable , luxurious and modern four star hotels in our country on 9th and 10th Dec , 2016 . Clarion Hotel President has 144 contemporary elegant aesthetically furnished Deluxe , Semi Deluxe and Standard rooms with attached modern wash rooms . The hotel is very neat and clean having purple room , 25 hour and 180 North Restaurants meeting the every need of the guests to their full satisfaction . As I have already reviewed these Restaurants earlier I am not writing more about them now . When we checked out at 0813 , I was astonished to see the lightening speed with which all my restaurant and other bills were settled and in no time I paid my total bill ( incl room rent ) of Rs 10544 /- by my Visa card at 0814.35 on 11th Dec . I praised the accuracy and efficiency of the hotel Management till 1245 when I received a phone call from my brother in law who was staying in the same hotel with me inquiring whether I have paid the room rent . On my affirmative answer he told me my nephew had paid the full room rent of our 2 days stay in advance when he booked our rooms . I was told that the hotel management promised him my entry would be reverted back and within a week I would get the room rent I paid extra . Four weeks would be completed tomorrow still neither I nor my nephew received the amount . I still do not understand how the most efficient billing system of the hotel charged me room rent again . My nephew had booked three rooms on his name and in one of these rooms we were staying . On the bill his name is there . But there was no mention that he paid the room rent and so I paid the same . But he had the doccumental proof about the same and the management accepted it . Still we are waiting for the refund till today .
