A great hotel to stay. The rooms have a nice decor. I was feeling quite dry and moisturiser present in the room was helpful. It has shopping malls too in the vicinity.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. A fine property with clean rooms, quick room service. It is located in the heart of the city. They have 2 restaurants serving some awesome food and the good part is that, it is economical.

This is an extremely pleasant hotel with very polite and efficient staff. They provide breakfast in the hotel every day which was pretty good. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with TV, with a nice shower in bathroom.

Terrible property- shabby, with taps dripping, AC's without proper temperature control- looks like an old dilapidated property. WORST OF ALL WAS THE FOOD! STALE FOOD! They repeated 90% of the lunch buffet at dinner- did not even have the courtesy to refill- it was so evident that they simply stuffed the leftovers from lunch in the fridge and took out the same thing for dinner- when i questioned the staff they had no answer- they were speechless- the chef came and apologized the next day- room service food was even worse- I threw both the things i ordered- they were simply inedible- and this happened despite the fact that i hate wasting food- please avoid staying here!! there are many other more livable hotels in vicinity. i would have given one star, if not for the very sweet and polite staff.

I am originally from Chennai and has been away more than 15 years so never had the reason to stay at hotel. This time had to stay at hotel for a night while on business and picked Courtyard as I am Marriott loyal. First some positive. The location is great. The breakfast was amazing. The manager Navin(?) was quick enough to apologise when he realised I was unhappy and tried showing kind gesture of waving my dinner bill. Now the negatives. When I came to reception no welcome. The folks were preoccupied. Also no Recognition that you are a Marriott Loyal pretty nonchalant. Then room smelled mould. The Bathroom did not have hand towels. No snacks or juices in minibar. The Fridge was kept empty. When I called and asked the reception Thye said I have to request prior to have snacks in minibar. Having come after a Long flight the last thing you Want to hear. Then the bed. The mattress was broken and uncomfortable. Overall this at best could have been a townplace suites in a old highway waiting for renovation. Hope Marriott fixes these fundamental issues.

I stayed at this hotel in 2015 when I visited the city for my US visa interview. I would say the food is rooms and food are decent but otherwise the overall experience is nowhere near other city Marriott hotels I have stayed at. The location is awful and makes even short commutes feel like they take hours. Staff seems a bit lost at times but they get the job done. I think the room and in-room dining rates are high for the value offered. Overall I think it was a decent experience and I'm glad it was a 1 night stay at this hotel.

It was really good experience. This was my first stay in this hotel and overall in Indian hotels. I came with my family (infant Kid) for visa stamping purpose. I took Visa Package which had airport pickup and drop off and free break fast and free pick and drop off to OFC and Consulate.i came to chennai from US. I stayed in this hotel for 5 days along with my wife and kid. Because of some confusion in the dates, the hotel did not sent Car to the airport, but when i called them, they said to come over by any cab and they would take care of the charges and they really took care of it. After reaching Hotel, the Manager and staff are very sorry for the situation and the manager offered free upgrade of the room. I was like surprised and felt happy. Room was very good. I requested Manager that is it possible to get separate food for my infant kid and he said Yes and in the morning he introduced me wit the chef of the Kitchen. For all 5 days they really took care of my Kids food. My wife was tensed initially for the baby food, but after she was really happy. Each and every staff were so friendly, we felt like home. I dont have phone and getting SIM card in Chennai was really tough. But the hotel Management helped me so that i really dont need of phone especially with dropping and pickup from OFC/Consulate. Food was really good (Paprika restaurant). House keeping is good. Any time they are available for the help. I really thank Subashi(Manager), Harris, Swetha, other Manager(forgot his name, apologies for that), to every Chef and people(couple of names Amir/Vishnu/Raja) who helped us during the entire stay. Sorry that i really could not remember all the names which i should have. The drop off to airport was little bad..the driver was very rash driving and also at the airport he just dropped all the suitcases. But overall my stay at this hotel was VERY GOOD.

Really disappointed with the hotel , do understand u renovating but the other rooms u not renovating gosh bad ... got a room which was like a make shift store room Food ... sushi which is sweet like a desert new invention .. f&b staff at the restaurant only saving grace Guys don't stay here until really need like a night stop hotel or until they get their house in order Front desk and operation managers get ur customer service in order.. really lacklustre
