Esthell hotel is well located but the room alloted suggested that they have a step motherly treatment wrt travel guru customers. ( cramped room , dingy corridor, safety latch broken, bulb fused) to name a few. Overall a bad experiece Sriram

Amazing facility at Adyar on the road to Besant Nagar and Lighthouse. Well furnished rooms with modern amenities and fully functional tv channels make this location great for a break. The reception in surprisingly at the second floor and its restaurant in the adjacent space makes food easy to obtain. Better still is to walk around the Adyar tri-junction and use amenities of numerous eating hotels.

This hotel is situated in a nice part of city. Little Away from very busy downtown Chennai. Hotel itself is maintained good, good service, breakfast. Hot water almost 24/7. Air conditioner worked great, must in Chennai.

Recently stayed in Esthell for 5 days. The hotel is newly renovated hence rooms are even though small- comfortable and with all latest amenities. The location of the hotel is also very good. I have given 3 star rating. I would have given 4 or 5 stars if there was a better room service provided. The room service is extremely slow. It takes around half an hour to get a tea in your room... Sandwich that we ordered also took the same time and it was way too expensive. There was a big issue with running hot water in the bathroom. 3 out of 5 times we had to take shower with cold water as hot water wasn't coming from the tap and when asked for a hot water bucket in the room it came after 40-50 minutes... So this good hotel needs to first get better and than hopefully best afterwards...

I am a regular visitor to this place. But won't be visiting anymore. Until they don't hire proper front office manager who actually hold hotel industry background not someone who argue like guy in a fish market. It was for extra payment but it's not about paying it. It's about the attitude he spoke with. Tortoise walks faster than the WiFi.. Refrigerator doesn't work. While check in they dint even replace the sanitary kit which I ask thm to replace while I was going out. I go there to because of few polite manager like Sindbad. But this Mr attitude Nazir really need to learn the basic on how to behave with the customer. Out of that he argues like a fish market guy trying to point out my mistake. Plz don't loose your customers because of some illiterate guy.

Inside the room you will find it perfectly fine... Rest all is little cheap.. Avoid as you may get better choice at same range. They offer complimentary breakfast but the area where they serve is a basement store room.
