Well, I tried to contac the hotel before hand to make sure my pick up from the airport.
The contact from, on the hotel site, did not work. I sent e-mail, did not get any responce.
I called the hotel, they told me to call upon arrival from the airport. I did, but the dricver was speaking so thick "indglish" thast it was quite difficult to understand, luckily I saw the car and text on the side. So I got my transportation.
About the hotel, I think the owners have forgot who is the most important person in the hotel..
The hotel looks OK from outside, but do not let it fool you.
It seemed that all the service/maintenance has been negleted since opening year, or at least after the flood in 2015.
Bathrooms were invery bad shape, probably have not ever been washed, like taps were matte grey and they should be bright chrome. Toilet seats were loose etc. etc.
The rooms were very "tired", the paintwork was very poor, a lot of stains on the walls. Floors seemed that they have been thoroughly cleaned some/many years ago.
There is TV in the room, but if you want get good picture, you have to stand up, because it is wall mounted and not adjustable, so relaxed TV time in this hotel.
Sheets and pillow cases were stained, even the "new ones".
There is no soundproofing what so ever, you hear all the noises from the other rooms and specially from the corridors. There was no rubber or similar seal between the door and the frame, so everytime somebody closed the door you can hear big bang..The locks have been old on the day they were installed.
Indian people do not respect other customers, so they start to shout very early in the morning (actually they are speaking, indian way, very loud). Kids are shouting, ringing other peoples doorbels, which are actually unnessary because the rooms are so small, knocking would be loud enough.
It is not the hotels fault that the some customers are loud, but negleting the soundproofing is.
The "windows" are unnessary, because you are not able to look out, the wall of the neigbouring house is there. The only thing you get thru the "windows" is noise from outside.
In the morning you get "free" wakeup call" at approx 05.30 from the nearby mosque...
Next wakeup is at approx 07.00 when they deliver breakfast, if you forgot to ask to deliver it later, each and every day.
As In said, it look good outside, but as the isidde is in such bad shape, not maintened/dirty etc. in Europe/western world this hotel could not get any stars, nor to have title "hotel" maybe hostel at most..
One star for the staff and working WiFi
The room was very comfortable and free airport transfer. The breakfast was good. The staff were helpful including the manager who assisted with our request. This hotel is highly recommended! very close to airport.
The staff service and behavior are excellent. Very pleasant stay there. I have decided to book on my next travel period. I highly recommend guests and women's to book this hotel for pleasant stay. - Dr Anitha
We had a stop over in chennai before the Colombo Flight in the morning.
The only thing this hotel had which was worth was the free pick up and drop from the airport.
Small rooms, mosquitoes (which chennai was supposed to have by default), broken spring mattress, no hot water, not a working AC and many more things.
It also had a complimentary breakfast, which the manager told us after we had a breakfast from nearby restaurant.
We got it for cheap though, that was the only way we could forget the experience.
It is a very good option for people who have to stay overnight to catch next day flight from chennai. Hotel is 5min drive from the airport. Pick up and drop from airport is complementary. Rooms are small but comfortable and relatively clean. It is a good deal for the price you have to pay. Breakfast is complementary but it is provided in packed condition. Hotel does not have a restaurant. Overall it is a good option
