Economical .The hotel would be good for Individuals not families. • Passages to rooms are poorly ventilated. • Even though, we were provided a menu card, the options were minimal. • Maintenance could be improved; our bathroom roof had a gaping hole at the corner.

Receptionist is non cooperative. Budget Hotel which is overpriced for the amenities they have in-house. Since we booked the hotel at the Peak of Jallikattu Issue 23rd Jan, it was wise decision to stay near to US Consulate. This Hotel is hardly 500 meters from US Consulate, that is the only + PLUS point of this Hotel rest everything not worth mentioning. Land Line to receptionist doesn't work from Room: 206, so we have to call from our mobile, ridiculous never experienced elsewhere.

We checked in at 6.00 AM and had booked a room for 3 people. We booked this mainly because it is close to U.S consulate. The Auto stand is right in front of the Hotel (i.e if you don't use mobile apps, we managed with uber for the most parts. Its cheaper than auto) Rooms were pretty clean and well maintained. However, the food is not so good there, so its better to have it outside & service is average. However, one thing that I didn't except was I was charged Rs 500/- more than the price that I had got it fo from Goibibo. The manager tried to explain that the size of the room we stayed was not regular or something ( I don't remember exactly what).

The main advantage of this hotel is its location. Being at a central place, it is near most places of interest, commercial, beach, shopping, etc. The rooms are neat, but are not cleaned unless you ask for it. There is no restaurant attached to the hotel, but they do provide food in the room. The help is mostly from outside Tamil Nadu, and understand hindi. (probably a problem from local visitors.) The manager was very helpful. Being on the arterial road, transportation is not a problem. There is an auto rickshaw and bus stand at the entrance of the hotel. Of, if you do not expect lavish attention and a resident for a couple of days. Free wifi is available, but the service is very poor.

The staffs of the hotel are OK. but their manager Mr.Koshi is not fit to be a manager in that hotel.I checked in into the hotel around 10:30 Pm i mentioned to the guy at reception that i will checkout next day at same time .and i know that its hrs. Check-in and checkout as i stay there at least for 10 days every month.So my departure would be at next day 10:30Pm. I.I settled my balance payment on next day morning and mistakenly informed the lady in reception that I am checking out.It was a mistake from my side called the hotel twice in another half to convey that i will checkout only on night and my stuffs are in room and my room key is also with me but no one picked up the call.Then i received a call form the lady around 4:00 PM saying that they need room key as she took checkout of her system , to give it to another guest.I apologised for the mistake i did and requested to that girl in reception to hold my room till night as iam in half of my work and i too had some valubles in my room.She said ok, BUT I CAN HERE THAT THIS MANAGER "KOSHI" SHOUTING AT THAT GIRL SAYING THAT HE IS GOING TO CUT A DAY SALARY OF HER BECAUSE SHE DID IT. i SAID HER TO HAND OVER THE CALL TO HIM BUT HE DOSNoT WANT TO TALK TO ME.........Is this how a 55 year old manager behave to a regular customer.PATHETIC.He was shouting to that girl who was trying to do me a favour.I asked for his mobile number and dailed him.He picked up the call and keep on shouting to that girl as he was mocking at UN professional,,,,,Is this the hospitality,,,,,,,i work in hotels in front office as executive know the culture of hospitality and how to treat a guest.I have referred this hotel to many of my guest who wants less price hotels.But THIS IS THE LAST STAY OF MINE AND WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS PROPERTY TO ANYONE.

Thought to check in a budget hotel in Chennai this time and being unfamiliar with the area I took help of OYO to help me choose one. Landed in this hotel and on first checking in found a room that was decent for a budget hotel and thought that i got a good deal....however this was just the begining of the problems....told the staff to get towels which took an hour...the towels were black as if they have never been washed... there was no soap/toiletries in rooms.....told them to give us the OYO welcome kit and the management blunty said that OYO has not provided one....the bathroom has no place to hang clothes....even knowing that we are 2 in the room there was only one chair....water bottles never provided Asked them from a room upgrade and they bluntly refused saying that the hotel is full despite me knowing that the hotel is not even 30% occupied. The room service was pathetic....these guys behave as if they are doing us a favor...they screw up on the order....unneccessary argue...definately lack courtesy...are unaware of what to say to guest... The breakfast was complementary but we were made to pay...we couldn't occupy the dining area as the AC of the same was not working.
