Dear Ms.Vandana, Based on information recd. from U, I had booked Hotel Royal Plaza, Koyambedu, Chennai by paying Rs.2848. I recd. a confirmation letter from Ur office regarding the same.( Booking ID. TGU0000654938) I approached the hotel on 29th at 12 noon. I was told that there are no rooms available and the same information was passed on to ur office on the same day of booking (25/01). However I was not informed by ur office. I waited for at least 1 hour in the hotel lobby of the adjacent Hotel Chennai Deluxe, which was also offered by U. This was after a tiring journey from bangalore. Inspite of making several calls to ur mumbai office and speaking to Ms. Dona, (wasting my precious time/money) I was not booked in that hotel but was offered another hotel which was about 8-10 km away. I flatly refused and was told that my booking amount will be refunded. I again paid for Hotel Chennai Deluxe for a room. I would like U to not only make full refund of my booking amount but also the following, Rs.100 for several long distance calls lasting about 12-15min, and a meager penalty of rs.1000 for inconvenience caused to self and my wife. Hotel is located in the main market. Room interiors are pretty good and the staff service too. The room facilities include hot and cold water in the bathroom, make up mirror, coffee and tea maker, internet access etc. I had my food in the hotel and relished the tasty food. Airport was a bit far from the hotel. The rooms were very neat and clean but the service was not up to my expectation. Whenever you call or buzz them for any thing they was no response. The food at the hotel restaurant was good.

Executive Deluxe room should have been a bit more spacious. Provision of Toiletries as tooth brush, shaving kit etc was on demand. Hot water was regulated from source. Travel Desk is available which is good. They provide even translators which is good. Travel Desk was good.

Recently stayed here for a night on triple occupancy basis. Very nice stay with good breakfast buffet. Got an excellent deal through ibibo. Though next to omni bus stand inside the room, not much of noise, manageable. Good travel options through buses,metro.....Overall recommended for those having work to do in city during day time. If purely for leisure opt for some other non busy area in the city

I have stayed in Royal Plaza for 2 days on 27 th & 28th November. Hotel is centrally located near koyambedu Omni bus stand. Hotel staff are very polite & service is good. Buffet breakfast is also awesome. Restaurant service is good. Only problem is it is a old hotel still they did not renovate anything. Standard room toilet seating is not comfortable. Space is very less. Hotel is not well maintained. Overall stay is ok for 2 days. Thanks siva, chennai

Not the Best Not the Best

Though the hotel was good enough but there was staff as less as you can imagine. Overall experience was good ,even the Koyembedu Central Bus Stand is located at walking distance. There even is a mmetro station nearby, so commuting is not an issue and the staff was friendly.

I chose to stay here as the conference which I was to attend was held here. It was a late night check in and was smooth and nice. Room was okay and clean as well. Room services were 24/7 and got some nice sandwiches. Opium was still alive... it opens till 12.00 . Breakfast was a bit limited but was nice and tasty. Food is good here. The hotel has stood for sometime I guess and needs a bit of renovation here and there. The staffs at the reception, room services, eats, bar, etc. were all very cordial and friendly.. Should stay again.....

The facilities is very Good and off course the hygiene The service is Late as for 1 thing we have to follow up ma y times The wifi they provide always has a issue Regarding Food . It is too good but costly to never had any type of food inside due to cost Complimentary breakfast is too good
