Its good hotel, but could not be rated as 5 star. Quality of rooms are also average. Food quality is okay. People need not expect or imagine to get 5 star ambience from this hotel.

The executive room was neat having all the facilities. Staffs were caring and courteous. The hotel has restaurant were I had my food it was lovely in taste. It is highly recommendable hotel.

This hotel is perfect for tour with family. The rooms are very clean and well furnished. The bathroom was like a regular 5 star hotel look. Very clean, had all the shampoos, moisturizers, shower caps etc I had complimentary breakfast and i surprised to see 170 items for our choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveler who wants to stay in Chennai.

We booked this hotel for a couple of reasons - one is the brand name and the proximity to the airport. While the hotel on the outside is in all it's grandeur and so is it reception area, that is about it. If you are the luxury traveler, this is not for you - the hotel is old, the corridors feel damp, carpets need a change. Interiors of the room need a massive revamp, it smells of old wood and the furniture is too outdated. Curtains feels like they have not been changed over several years. Room service was pathetic, the coffee cup lied there for the 3 days that we were there, uncleaned. We had to keep asking for our room to be cleaned including asking for extra toilet paper. This was one area that really put me off. Do they not have trained personnel to actually do the job?We had to ask for an extra pair of slippers, even though we stayed as a couple. Breakfast is vast, with its usual variety, the punch and flavour was missing. They have a bar in the lobby, that needs some major revamp - it's dark and drab. The plus point is that, you can sit at the lobby and have your drink. I visited the ladies salon, it did not meet the standards of a 5 star hotel. It was stark empty - with nothing on the shelves and felt that it in the midst of a shutdown. The star restaurant Cilantro had a Food festival running - The Italian Food Festival, it was quite a disappointment - having travelled internationally and being a foodie, I can tell the difference and the flavour of the food. It was a mixed buffet, with lots of Indian, Asian, Continental and the Italian mixed with it. The server was kind enough to put a freshly baked pizza in front of us after i insisting that the pizza lying on the counter has stayed too long. Pasta etc was more than ala dente, it was technically raw. The hotel staff here are not trained to greet you while you move up and down the corridor no one ever looks up to you , as I have noticed in several other 5 star properties. Service of the gate keeper, door men and concierge is commendable - they are stars and assist you with about anything.

A very spacious, comfortable and elegant place! I have stayed there before and would like to be there again! The breakfast spread is lavish and tempting. G Prasanth, the Food and Beverages supervisor, was always around in the Cilantro, to help and serve. Generally, all staff were courteous and willing to go out of the way. Although my package did not include wi-fi, I was given complimentary wi-fi during my stay.

Me and my family had a one night complimentary stay in this amazing hotel. We were there to celebrate my parents Anniversary. The room was extravagant, very spacious , the staffs were really quick in their service and the food was delicious. We heart fully thank Mr.Samsudheen for making our stay a very memorable one. Very comfortable and spacious rooms. The restaurant Cilantro has a wonderful breakfast buffet. Mr Prasanth, the senior F&B Supervisor was very attentive and professional. He made us feel at home. Looking forward to coming back.
