They seem to have a less than average understanding of the quality, cleanliness and customer orientation. This seems to be a general scenario in the hotels in Tamil Nadu.

1. Room AirCon Defective. 2. Cleanliness below average. 3. On check-out Hotel reception Staff uncooperative. Refused to call a radio taxi and insisted I avail of Hotel Taxi Service (and pay double the price). I may not like to go to Ramada again.

It is like service. Well interior of Executive room was very nice. It is close to important commercial and shopping areas. Recommendable.

Hotel is centrally located in the main city. Room was spacious with all the basic facilities. Breakfast was amazing in taste. Staff were fantastic in their service. The location was wonderful near the hotel.

Not worth... No wifi after one hour. Drinking water was fakely packed. Ac was not working ... Bad service .. too costly. We complined about service still no progress in service. Not satisfied. Never again

A decent property with mediveal style rooms.Bathroom pipe leaks forever.Hope they fix.Lighting in the room needs some more brainstorming from Management.Food is excellent,though serving staff are bit confused.Pool side n gym are ok.Wifi speed is big no.Towels need some more attention while cleaning.Ill rate. 3 out of 5.

The hotel is well loacted in the heart of the city and I went meet the client who was staying there for a couple of nights. The ;location is fantastic and closer to railway station than to airport but except peak times, you can still do airport in under an hour Rooms are fairly ok and amenities ar ep to date. Satff is courteous also.

This place made me feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog Day. I've stayed at this property twice - both for a month duration - July and Nov / Dec 2016. Upon first experience it seems fine. However, for a long term female business guest - this place is a nightmare. Nothing works and no one really does anything about it. It's very geared towards Indian guests - not the International guest. 1. Worst wifi ever. If wifi is important to you - skip this place immediately. You'll be crippled. Having said that - they do get the kind IT man to fix my connection to my mobile and laptop regularly. 2. Poor planning - they started refurbishing my floor while I was still staying there. They blocked off all the other rooms and started construction. One day it started at 8am on a Saturday. The floors were either visibly dusty or soaking wet from mopping. One of my colleagues slipped on the wet marble floors. They also don't put up any cautionary signs for guests. 3. Scheduling internal housekeeping furniture moves via the service corridor at 1:30am - the place is marble and echoes - I had to call multiple times to ask for it to be stopped. 4. No adherence to "no smoking". Guests will smoke and it travels through the vents into my room. I'm a non-smoker. 5. Lack of care for solo female guests - especially long term ones. I was placed at the end of the corridor next to the employee service area. Staff are loud and don't move with care or attention to guests early in the morning or late at night. 6. Front desk staff lack common sense or communication skills. I complained here nearly everyday. Yet they still checked in a family with a small baby who screamed all night directly across the hall from me. They then rented out rooms to men who drink and smoke with their doors wide open and talk loudly. This is at 11:48pm on a Tuesday. Good luck getting any sleep. 7. One front desk agent counted an extremely large number of 100 rupee notes yet when I went to change a larger note (before demonetisation) and requested 100 rupee notes she said she didn't have any. I had to confront her on her lie to her face. She then sheepishly smiled and hesitantly gave me what I asked for. 8. The man who works regularly on the night shift gave a group of people my room number because they said they knew me. I had strangers knock on my room door at 11:30pm at night. When I confronted the night desk agent he said it is up to me to tell the hotel not to let anyone up to my room. Upon my return I had to explicitly write on my check in form not to give out my room number to anyone. 9. The rooms have mosquitos. 10. some rooms have very loud AC and even if the staff know about it they will check you in. 11. Housekeeping staff is super friendly but don't clean well. You'll notice if you're long term but not if you're in for a couple of days and gone. Service is inconsistent. Some days I get two towels, another day one. Sometimes a bath mat - another day no bath mat. 12. Do not disturb doesn't mean much. Someone would ring my door 8am every morning asking me for laundry. 13. No DND on the phones. 14. Hotel bar is notorious for local douche bags. Women shouldn't even think of going in. Especially if solo. Pluses: 1. Even with the colossal and consistency of screw ups here - the staff are nice. Incompetent and not well versed in customer service or english - but nice. 2. Restaurant staff work hard. Often all day. Their service is mostly on point if not a little awkward and overbearing. But it seems cultural. 3. Selva the bellman is really sweet and warm. 4. The doorman - Stephen - is super consistent. 5. The tubs are somewhat sunken in - which I liked. 6. The beds are comfortable 7. The laundry service is really dependable 8. You will receive a daily bottle of water for free - sometimes one sometimes two - this is a super plus. 9. They have an eco programme so you don't need to have your bed linens stripped each day 10. Great location for food and shopping. I felt safe. Take away: If you're an in and out guest Raj Park is totally fine. If you're a solo female traveller or a seasoned international travel - skip this place. They are known to cater to Indians from India and I suspect they do it well. But for a discerning traveller - go to a big chain known for consistency in service and higher standards. I would ask my Chennai office not to book me here ever again. The proximity to the office isn't worth it.
