Reservation:I had a confirmed booking for a 3 bedroom apartment and Red Sun reception had no record of my booking on arrival. Service:I was given a 2 bedroom apartment instead after a 45 minute wait and was then advised that the breakfast service was over. they could give us a limited option of toast,preserves,a fresh fruit and coffee. This was served with no cutlery.The preserves did not accompany the toast and no salt and pepper was made available. The apartment had no glasses or cutlery and while there was microwave oven, all the plates and other vessels were metal. There was a mixer but no kettle for tea/coffee.The towel rack in the bathrooms were missing and the door stopper on the main door malfunctioning.No tissues or toilet paper. Lift doors do not close automatically. Staircase too narrow and a potential hazard in case of emergencies. Access: This place is not suitable as it is in the middle of nowhere with inadequate transport facilities and a narrow lane to reach the main road. Eating options: I had lunch on the day of arrival and was informed that they could serve only phulkas as the tandoor items are only available in the dinner service.I ordered a channa masala and phulkas. The channa was undercooked,the gravy too spicy though the phulkas were fine. Overall impression: Expensively built apartments with mismatch of facilities/furnishings. Pleasant people at reception but not particularly efficient.Never bothered to record the comments I offered. Restaurant staff poorly trained and maybe ok in a Dhaba. May suit IT companies trying to crowd their junior staff at a low cost but not a discerning traveler looking for value.I would never stay here again.

The rooms are good but as mentions in there facilities that they have kitchen with equipments and all...its not true..even the fridge is not working.. They dont have restaurants and the location of this hotel in such a place that you wont get breakfast in morning... You have to wait till 12pm for having food... Very few hotel staffs... I wont recommend anyone to stay here..its just waste of money...

Give towels and bed ,it's enough for your family you stay here ,no service, no kitchen ,nothing available even food , what a terrific experience . Not in good location ,nothing available nearby, not thing anymore

Had booked this place for my relatives to stay during a wedding. The apartments are all 2BHKs with 2 bathrooms in each apartment. There are 4 apartments to a floor. The bedding and the bathrooms were clean and sanitized. The parking area is spacious. The staff bring food from restaurant outside and we can choose what we want for each meal. The kitchen has some basic utensils, a microwave and a fridge. Decent surroundings with not much traffic outside.

Bit far from city center. No good restaurant near by. Graveyard opposite. Service by staff not bad. Washing service good. Overall stay was okay. You can negotiate for better discount.... You have instructions for regular cleaning & the fridge was not working.

The stay at the apartments was very satisfying. We didn't face issue on the dimensions of cleanliness, food, language, service. Rooms were pretty, not too small nor large. Restrooms were clean. Food at the restaurant was delicious. To our surprise they don't serve south Indian delicacies. North Indian lunch and dinner was sumptuous. Had a great experience. Would opt and refer these apartments if you are new to Chennai and don't want to spend heavy. Best Wishes ! :)

Demo Trip Take a room in the building where the reception is. And the room should be in 2nd or 3rd floor. At least you can avoid the stinking smell to an extent.
