I never felt bad like this, i stayed different hotels many time, but this one was very terrible, the rooms were not cleaned for years, the bathroom and toilet very very very poor, I request everyone please stay out from this hotel. Do not look for cheap rent, its better to have room even for higher rent to have pleasant stay

The hotel is very near to Central Railway Station, just 3 minutes walk. Very quick check-in due to approach and payment made. Room very clean but without any natural ventilation as it was on the ground floor. Bathroom not spacious with the WC in one corner. No hot water facililty through tap, but we were given hot water in a bucket in less than 5 minutes after asking for the same. Towels & soaps were given on request, but no shampoo. No dining option in the hotel but lot of eateries all around. Overall a good experience for business travellers looking for decent and reasonable priced hotel.

Excellent location, and TV was working, but no blanket available, cockroaches everywhere. A chicken biryani was brought to me, which is nice, although a bit sandy, which is not uncommon for this kind of takeaway.

Only the location of hotel is plus point.Hot water was not there in the bathroom.However hotel staff arranged bucket of hot water on request.No ironing service available on time.South Indian breakfast which is complementary was good but needs improvement in fruits they offer.Only few slices of papaya being served in fruits.Room service for dinner was too late but food was good.Allows visitors on confirming is good thing.Hotel needs big improvement in ventilation and exhaust fans.Otherwise good place for quick stay in the core of Chennai city.

It's a pleasant surprise for me to see SANTHI BHAVAN NEW look. Now it's really ready to accept the challenge from competitors.Rooms are furnished well and good buffet breakfast .The location is very prime for business.

It used to be horrible earlier, but, recently they seem to have renovated the Hotel rooms and it is pleasing to eyes than earlier. Better lighting and management and good maintenance after renovation can be seen. A/c rooms are better.. there is no lift facility. Close to Chennai central station. Tariff is budget friendly.

Used to be really horrible earlier. They have done a complete renovation now of both interiors, rooms and exteriors. Ac is more effective now, service and cleanliness is sparkling and house-keeping is quick. Located close to Chennai Central Station. Room Tariffs are not high and within budget for Economy travel.

The Hotel room has no ventilation. The room and toilets are dirty. It is worth spending few more bucks and try a better hotel. Not advisable to stay with family. The only advantage is that it is 5m from Central station
