Location: It's near where I needed to be for my Seminars and Meetings so it was perfect for me. HOwever, I would request the hotel that in the future inform your customers beforehand that the landmark is "Firelights", it took us a while for the driver to find the hotel and it was already late so the added travel time was inconvenient. The locality is good, near the market and it was quiet enough for my taste. Reception: Before coming, we talked to a couple of people, one was very helpful in providing info on how to reach there. The other one was not as helpful and promptly hung up the phone after thinking he is done answering our queries, which was not. We were also requesting for a pickup from the train station which they said they do not provide. However, they did offer some info on how and where to get the cab. When we arrived, nobody came to greet and help us with our luggages. Because of these first impressions, I didn't have high hopes with the hotel. Room and amenities: I was pleasantly surprised when we were directed to our room. It had all basic requirements, the room was pleasant and modern. Bed and pillows ultra soft. AC, tv, and heater all working great. They provide a fridge, dining area, microwave and cutlery right outside the room to share with the other room, which was perfectly fine. It was homely and sweet. Room Service/Customer Service: The seemingly most hardworking guy there "Nikki" was friendly, very polite and was anxious to provide us with all we require. And he always came with a smile and a conversation if you want it. The center manager (sorry I forgot your name), was very helpful when we needed info about the nearby market and helped us book for a Pondicherry trip. He even went as far as called the taxi service for us and inquired about the costs and had the hotel driver match that price, with the assurance of the driver's integrity. These all made up for my previous disappointment. Food: They offer complimentary breakfast. It was homely and good. HOwever I do think they have basically the same menu, so if you are looking for variety you may want to check some other restaurants, there are a lot of choices any way. Overall, I liked the food and was satisfied for my early morning food requirement. Overall: I say this is a quiet little hotel for those who are looking for good rooms and amenities at a lower cost. Service is overall great except for a few bumps along the way, again I would say Nikki made it a pleasant stay for us. Recommendation: I would recommend it to anyone, even my husband who travels a lot. I will definitely come and stay here again whenever I am in Chennai. If I can make any suggestion to the hotel, I would request them to provide pick up esp for women who may be arriving late in the night. And for those whose train/flights leave very early, it would be great if breakfast can be provided even at an extra cost and that the reception should be 24/7, so we wouldn't have to wake them up to check out.

Demo Trip Location: From Anju Villakku, go down straight uptill the dead end of the road and you will find this property on your right side; mostly goes un noticed as it gets mixed up with neighbour hood. Its is opposite one Andhra Mess. Food: one can try out Rathna Cafe, which is about 600m ahead of the property Ensure that TV is in working condition Ensure that room is touched up with room freshner Ask for complimentary toiletries
