Since it is a Taj property nothing was left unturned. Rooms were impeccable, Quality was also the best. All type of dining options were there. Infact sipping Beer with your legs dipping in the swimming pool was the most pleasant experience. They are undergoing a major revamp, but still that did not hamper their services. This is hte class of any Taj property. I like their committment. You get a free shoe shine and Fresh cut fruits. Rooms have a surround sound and that is really something wonderful.

Clean, safe and convenient. The staff is very good. They are warm, courteous and friendly. The restaurants are good but the food is nothing special by western standards. Good in comparison to other Indian places..

The service & the attitude of the staff at the Taj is excellent. At every turn, the staff are there to greet you and ask if need anything. Coupled with the great room, amenities & cuisine, its 5 stars out 5!

A nice and well manged property. Guests are made to feel at home. But for the problem of traffic on the main road during peak traffic hours, one feels very welcome and comfortable once inside the hotel. The buffets are luxurious. One wonders if such a wide spread in buffets is called for. Room service is excellent. Managed by a set of committed staff.

Firstly I was looking forward to this stay at TAJ AND HAD LOTS OF EXPECTATIONS. Not only for the experience, other important factor was its location. Being very near to the main interest, this was the best choice. Very good checkin experience. The front staff very courteous, true to TAJ Standards, and TATA reputation, highly professional. The element of people centric cannot be missed by anybody who goes through this experience. Checkin was breeze, and since we were little early for checkin, the small wait was no big deal. Had asked for non smoking floor and rooms are excellent, spacious and amenities are par with TAJ. Staff at the room levels were very courteous and well mannered, smiling all the way. Had complementary breakfast, and was very good. Variety bordering on too much, pampered like a king and a memorable foodie experience. Overall was a very memorable stay and definitely going to stay in the next available opportunity.

We stayed here for 2 nights prior to a 3 week tour of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Arrival 5/5 - very efficient and friendly check in. They escorted us to our room. Room 628 on the Club Level 6th floor. Room 4/5 - a reasonable size, but quite old fashioned. Very comfy king bed with quality linen. Sofa, large desk, good size tv with countless channels, digital safe, iron and board, minbar, kettle for tea & coffee. Plenty of storage space. Good aircon. Bathroom 3/5 - a bit dated, but clean and with everything you need. Full size bath with shower. The bath looked old and the enamel was chipped in a few places. Dinner 3/5 - we had dinner one night in the main restaurant Anise. Pleasant buffet food, though the service was a bit random, though very polite. Breakfast 4/5 - plenty of food choices and good service. Staff 5/5 - every staff member throughout the hotel was polite and friendly and could not do enough to help you every way. Club lounge 4/5 - we used the lounge regularly for snacks, coffee and to read the papers. Very smart and helpful staff. Overall 4/5 - we've stayed in plenty of Taj hotels over the years and they are always quite good.
