Abad Metro

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Abad Metro, and I found it to be a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Kochi. The hotel is located near the Maharaja College metro station, making it easy to explore the city and access public transportation. The hotel itself is nice, with a welcoming atmosphere. One of the standout features is the courteous staff, who were always ready to assist with any feasible request. I appreciated that parking is available, albeit for a limited number of cars, which is a plus in a busy area. The rooms are neat and clean, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. I was particularly pleased with the fast Wi-Fi, which made it easy to stay connected during my visit. The TV and properly functioning AC added to the overall comfort of my stay. The bathrooms were also clean and well-maintained, which is always important. While the breakfast spread may not be vast, it was good enough for me. The food was delicious, and the staff in the breakfast area were very courteous and attentive. Additionally, the hotel has a kitchen where you can order food to your room, which is convenient if you prefer dining in. Overall, Abad Metro offers a blend of comfort, convenience, and good service at a reasonable price. If you’re looking for a hotel that provides essential amenities and a friendly atmosphere without being overly fancy, this is definitely worth considering for your stay in Kochi.

Very well managed hotel, like I have rarely seen in India. It’s part of a group with much higher end hotels, but this one is simple and cheap but managed like a high range hotel. All staff is efficient, smiley and polite. The room was super clean and breakfast was simple but good. I had a very good stay and can recommend it to anyone looking for a budget stay. They don’t appeared online but I went there and got a room instantly and a good rate (1800 for single room)

During our recent visit to Kochi, we stayed at Abad Metro Hotel. Our rickshaw driver initially took us to Abad Plaza by mistake, but since I was following Google Maps, I realized it was a different location. So, if you're traveling by rickshaw, it's a good idea to double-check your destination to avoid confusion. Our stay was a mixed experience. Initially, we were given a room on the 4th floor, but upon entering, I noticed many mosquitoes in the room. I immediately requested a change, and they shifted us to a room on the 3rd floor. This room was better, though I still found one or two mosquitoes, likely due to a small gap under the door. However, we didn’t mind too much. Another issue was that the AC started leaking water onto the floor. We had to call reception, and they sent someone to repair it. It took some time, but they did fix the issue. The staff was courteous and responsive, which I appreciated. Despite the minor inconveniences, their service and behavior were good. The hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which was quite good. The buffet included Idly, sambar, chutney, Kalappam, green peas curry, watermelon juice, bread, jam, cupcakes, cornflakes, tea /coffee. I did miss egg item, as they weren’t included in the general buffet. However, I noticed that some selected guests were asked if they needed an omelette, which seemed a bit unusual. The checkout time was 11 AM. Overall, the stay left us with mixed feelings..

I thoroughly enjoyed my recent stay. The staffs were always motivated to help me. The food was excellent. The hotel ambience was lovely & very serene. The price is also moderate and expect to stay again.

I visited Kochi recently and stayed in Abad Metro Hotel, Rajaji Road, Kochi. Right from booking experience, it was very good. Both Unni & Sujay patiently cleared my queries and helped in booking rooms. At the hotel, Rijjo & Anoop from reception was super helpful. They took care of my even small requests also and went out of their way in helping me as I was new to city. Rooms were clean, spacious and value for money. Housekeeping staff also attended requests diligently. Overall a super experience. I will surely stay again in same hotel in case I visit Kochi again.
