The hotel is ideal for small family and the location is close to temples and other market area. we enjoyed the stay in the hotel during the onam fesrival. the hotel had special meals for onam and it was good. thanks travel guru for the discounted room rates.

Booked a room for a family of four (two adults and two kids aged 10 and 6 yrs. I expected an extra bed, however, when i checked in, the hotel staff told me that they had information about two adults only and they would not be providing any extra bed. After lots of argument and showing them the booking details they agreed to give one extra mattress to be laid on the floor. There was no extra bed provided. Hotel staff informed me that extra bed means extra mattress which is laid on the floor. There was language problem with the staff and had horrible time explaining the requirement of extra bed. There was no water bottle provided and i was told that water is provided in the jug or u can purchase the water bottle. Again had horrible time while checking out as the hotel staff asked for the money for an extra bed. Finally had to call the manager and explain the things to him who thankfully understood the problem. Could leave the hotel with an adverse opinion about the hotel and travelguru. I would request the hotel management and travel guru to plz provide complete and correct information about a hotel on their respective sites. We book a hotel online expecting there would be no hassles after a long journey and one would have a peaceful night sleep and not waste it arguing with hotel staff. One can pay extra money if the services is good. Plz do not fool people on the name of discounts or other offers.

I liked the room with clean flooring and attached bathroom. The staff was wonderful with prompt service. Also the food was delicious in taste. I liked the property very much.

Hotel management is highly unprofessional. I traveled with 18 months old infant. I checked in at 6 PM and there was no basic facilities in standard room. I was charged Rs.500 extra for another room saying there you will have the basic facilities i.e. Hot Water. Unfortunately, there also no hot water was available. I was kept waiting till 11.30 PM and I was asked to pay Rs.3000 extra for Suit room which I did not agree. Management is extremely unprofessional behavior. From Reception I was connected over phone to Hotel Manager Called Mr. Ramesh (I am not sure who he was). Hotel staffed at Reception kept on discussing in local language and made us waiting. Mr. Ramesh was worst of the person from entire management/reception team. He behaved such that he is least bothered for customers and demanded Rs.3000 for Suit room. I ended up staying and paying additional Rs.500 (receipt available) but not provided hot water.

I went to have a dosa. Went and sat with my friends for 30 minutes. Nobody bothered. Then when I asked they told that I have to go and take token, just like railway station restaurant. Even after taking the token the numbers were not called sequentially. Thoughy of going to wash room. The door itself is tooooo small that you cant enter without touching both sides. And once you enter, if you dont have nose, all your eyes, ears and all other parts will burn with the dirty smell. Of course the dosa hasn't turn bad as much but finally when the coffee came, it was in plastic cup. Kudoos to the new management after the late owner Swami. Whoever it is, a small request, dont spoil the legendry Swami "s name.

An old property in the heart of the city and accessible easily. This hotel is sought after for its excellent vegetarian food, which otherwise is difficult to get in Kochi. The rooms are a bit old and need urgent overhaul. The TV is the box set- and does not connect to regional and national channels. Rooms are clean and well maintained and the Toiletries offered are also good. AC functions well.Room service is also good.When I stayed, it poured heavily and the water entered the hotel- so the drainage system is an issue. Overall, if the rooms are renovated, it will be a great attraction to many people. For Strict vegetarians like me, this is the hotel of choice.

This hotel is near marine drive. It's a very reasonable and well maintained hotel. The rooms are neatly maintained. The service is not up to the mark and has rooms of improvement. The food quality served is very good. The bathroom is clean but requires additional care and improvements.

This is a purely vegetarian restaurant, traditional Keralite food. Went to this plate late afternoon on a Friday but still managed to find thali meals for lunch. Food was great, served on plantain leaves, and the staff were attentive to our party of 6, particularly towards my children. Highly recommended.
