Bloom Boutique - Waterfront Fort Kochi

The hotel isn’t as clean and new as it appears in the pictures. The furniture is a bit outdated, the windows were quite dirty, and the AC leaked a lot of water into the room. Breakfast could be improved, and the kitchen service was rather slow. On the bright side, the staff was very nice, helpful, and friendly, which made the stay more pleasant!

I can not express my satisfaction in one sentence for staying in this property. Excellent heritage property and excellent service. Superb taste of food. I stayed there with my family in 2nd week of March 2025. I still wish to stay in this property again.

Being located on the waterfront this hotel offers great vistas of the lake. The hotel is housed in a 175 year old heritage building. This can be called a museum as it showcases a large number of antique and unique items such as automobiles, machinery, paintings, photographs, household items, etc. All these things belong to the owners of the property. Even the rooms meant for providing accommodation are furnished with antique furniture belonging to the bygone days. My stay in this hotel is something that I shall always cherish.

What a wonderful hotel! It felt like we stayed in a museum: a well-restored authentic villa, nicely located on the waterfront and a leisurely stroll away from the Fort. The pool was great to chill and cool off. Staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. Highly recommended ’’

We stayed in the mattancherry location. It is a beautiful hotel but badly maintained. I wish the owners took extra care to hire better staff overall. Something so pretty needs a little more attention. When service is lacking it’s clearly training that’s the problem and it can be fixed. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat but for the service. Food served was overly bad, oily and cold. A promise of breakfast by the waterfront was a shabby affair.
