Bolgatty Island Resort (KTDC)

Restaurant - Too many Houseflies. Most of the food were open when we first entered, and houseflies were already taking their place on food. Staffs are not proactive and not friendly. They lack hospitality. Lack Safety and cleanliness - 5-6 street dogs were also in the hotel surroundings and inside the hotel as well. They were using the swimmingpool as well. We didnt use the pool after that disgusting view. Inspite of seeing the dogs, no staffs took any steps forward. Rooms - The rooms were not fresh. It has that closed dusty smell. Same ambience as opening an old palace room :). The bathroom accessories and furnitures are not maintained well. Very old furnitures. Bellboy and house keeping staffs served their service well.

Tranquil Stay at Bolgatty Palace, Cochin..! The property offers a vast open space, perfect for leisurely walks and unwinding amidst nature. The serene atmosphere makes it an ideal retreat for families looking for a relaxing getaway. One of the highlights of the stay was the beautiful sea view, which added to the charm of the location. The overall ambiance is calm and refreshing, allowing you to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel also provides room service for food, which is convenient, though the taste could be improved. However, the overall experience, including the spacious surroundings and the tranquil environment, makes it a great choice for a comfortable stay.

Great location, surrounded by waters on 2 sides, lush green lawns , lots of natural beauty to simply walk around the outdoors and explore, great location for photography. The rooms are very basic, not luxurious but nothing to complain about. The food at the restaurant was below average and has plenty of scope for improvement. All in all the place has a huge potential to be developed into a luxury resort.

Excellent Location for a Resort. Perfect venue to conduct family and even corporate events. Rooms quality and maintenance varies based on which you choose, Palace suites, Executive Suites and the cottage rooms. Nonetheless it's very good for the price they offer. Has some amazing sunset views and a view of the city as well. Good Swimming pool and a decent Beer and Wine Parlour.

This is all about the location which you can explore at it’s maximum. The rooms and services are not much high but you will get mesmerising view from the property. The sunset is a must one when you are in Bolgatty palace. It’s very quiet and calm atmosphere . We have booked the deluxe rooms and it was descent one and the food was okay but not all items are good. The main drawback is about the swimming pool. They are not properly taking care of the pool and patch works around all the corners in the pool makes very uncomfortable. The patch works inside the pool made many small wounds in my daughter’s leg.
